Bug fixes for bookings, budgets and guest sign-up
- 🐛 Fixed During British Summer Time, couples could book a supplier up to an hour inside the supplier's minimum notice. Notice is now measured on UK time all year round.
- 🐛 Fixed Pressing "Convert to booking" twice in quick succession could make two bookings from one enquiry. It now always makes one.
- 🐛 Fixed An enquiry or a shortlist item could name a service belonging to a different supplier. Only that supplier's own services are accepted now.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest who had been removed from a wedding and signed up again from their invitation was told they already had an account for it. Their request now goes to the couple like anyone else's.
- 🐛 Fixed The "Wedding Budget" figure on your shortlist now shows the budget you set, not the total of your category estimates.
- 🐛 Fixed A percentage instalment such as 12.5% showed as 13% beside an amount worked out on 12.5%. It now shows exactly as entered, and a percentage instalment can no longer be set above 100%.
- 🐛 Fixed Photo album types and supplier categories now show their proper names, such as "Getting Ready" and "Hair & Makeup", instead of how they are stored.
- 🐛 Fixed Counts of one now read properly across the dashboard and supplier portal, such as "of 1 guest", "1 token" and "expires in 1 day", instead of "1 guests" and "1 tokens".
- 🐛 Fixed When a suspension on your account is lifted, you are now told by email.
- 🐛 Fixed Couples on a supplier's waitlist are now told when their date comes free. Until now nobody was ever told.
- 🐛 Fixed A quick reply sent from the dashboard chat, or a task moved on the planning board, is no longer lost if it fails to save. The reply goes back in the box, or the task goes back where it was, so you can try again.
- 🐛 Fixed The Roles page now works on a phone. The list of roles sits above the permissions instead of squeezing them into a narrow column.
- 🐛 Fixed On phones and tablets, the notification drawer's close button, the photo report flag and the small "×" on photo thumbnails are now easier to tap without changing how they look.
- 🐛 Fixed If our virus scanner is unreachable, an upload now stops within a few seconds and asks you to try again shortly, instead of hanging.
- 🐛 Fixed If an upload of several photos fails part way, none of them is kept, so trying again no longer leaves the first few in the album twice.
- 🐛 Fixed The Roles page now describes each permission in plain words, such as "Change the RSVP settings", instead of labels like "Edit Rsvp Settings".
- 🐛 Fixed If you are taken off a wedding and only have a business account left, the notice now links to your supplier dashboard rather than an empty wedding one.
- 🐛 Fixed Booking, enquiry, refund and supplier account emails now end with the "Manage email preferences" link like every other email. Over forty kinds of email were missing it.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers who close a stretch of dates can now reopen the whole period in one go, instead of a day at a time. The close-a-period form is also laid out properly.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers who try to cancel or move on a booking that has already finished, usually from a page left open, are now told plainly what happened instead of seeing an error page. Notices that a booking had moved on since the page was opened now show up too; before, they were never displayed.
- 🐛 Fixed Setting up, changing or deleting the budget and its categories now shows in the wedding's activity log with who did it. Only supplier lines on the budget were recorded before.
- 🐛 Fixed Answering a price change the supplier has since replaced no longer shows a green "done" message. It now says your answer was not recorded and points you to the new price. Saving website settings before the website exists now says nothing was saved, instead of looking like it worked.
- 🔒 Security The anti-spam check on sign-up, sign-in and the contact form could be skipped by a script that simply left it out. It now has to be passed whenever it is switched on.
- 🔒 Security If our team changes the email address on your account, your old address is now told, and the new one gets a link to confirm it.
Buying tokens no longer ends on an error page
- 🐛 Fixed When card payments are unavailable, the Buy Tokens page now says purchases are paused instead of showing an error after you choose your tokens.
- 🐛 Fixed If a card payment cannot be started, you are taken back to Buy Tokens with your choice kept and a note that nothing has been charged.
A free guest list template, and clearer supplier pages
- ✨ New The guest list page now offers our free UK wedding guest list template to download, an Excel sheet that also opens in Google Sheets.
- ⚡ Improved Guest list import accepts the template saved as a CSV just as it is, title rows and all, and a CSV saved from Excel as "CSV UTF-8".
- ⚡ Improved When an import skips a row, it now gives the row number you see in your spreadsheet.
- ⚡ Improved The supplier directory now says "suppliers", the word couples in the UK search for.
- ⚡ Improved Blog topic pages have clearer titles in search results, such as "Wedding Etiquette UK".
- 🐛 Fixed The guest list page no longer says you match columns on screen when importing. Columns are read by their headings, in any order.
PHP security update
- 🔒 Security The site now runs PHP 8.4.27, which closes two critical flaws announced on 21 October 2026 (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619).
Seasons for supplier pricing, and the admin account page says when and why
- ✨ New Suppliers can now name the seasons their prices follow, as dates that repeat every year, once for the whole business on a new Pricing page. Each service then carries a price for each season, as a fixed figure or a percentage of its usual price, in one grid. A season may run over the new year, and seasons cannot overlap.
- ✨ New Couples with a wedding date now see the season's name beside a supplier's price for their date, so the figure makes sense. A date a supplier priced by hand still wins, then the season, then any weekday band.
- ⚡ Improved A supplier who already had month-based rules on a service can turn each into a season with one click; nothing is renamed or moved without them.
- ⚡ Improved The Planning emails section on an account's admin page now gives every queued email an earliest date, one week apart in queue order, and a Why column. A row that does not match names the rules it fails in the rule builder's own words. When the account is outside the gate every pipeline applies, such as its first week on the platform, the page says so once, with the day that changes.
- ⚡ Improved Each of those rows now carries the full reason itself, and its When column shows the day the wait ends, so nothing has to be scrolled to on a phone.
Clearer vendor terms and a fuller privacy policy
- ⚡ Improved The privacy policy now has a section written for guests who were added to a list and never signed up, a plain list of how long each kind of record is kept (including backups), every outside service we use and what each one sees, the emails we send and how to stop each kind, how vendor ID checks are handled and deleted, how leads are priced to vendors, and how to complain to the ICO.
- ⚡ Improved The Terms of Service now say what the vendor directory is for — the suppliers couples book for the day itself — and that we may decline or remove a listing, including for businesses that compete with Wedding List Manager, businesses that are not wedding suppliers, or businesses we cannot verify.
Your full venue wherever it's shown, and planning emails that wait for you
- 🐛 Fixed Planning emails no longer arrive the morning after you sign up. Nothing is sent until your account is a week old and your email address is verified; save-the-date and big-day reminders wait until you have a guest list; seating and supplier suggestions wait a week after your wedding is set up; and the venue suggestions skip you if you've already named a venue. Every one of these emails still has an unsubscribe link for that email, a link to turn all of them off, and the settings page to choose which you get.
- 🐛 Fixed Wedding planners no longer receive couples' planning emails about the weddings they run for clients.
- ⚡ Improved Your venue's name, address and postcode now appear everywhere the venue is shown — the dashboard header, your wedding picker, the plain-text version of the invitation email, your website's description, the planner's client page and your data download — instead of just the town, and the town no longer reads ", United Kingdom" after it. Suppliers still only ever see the town.
Find your venue on Google, your venue's full address on invitations, and five fixes
- ✨ New "Find your venue" now searches Google, so a barn, a hotel or an estate comes up by name with its full address, and the right Bolton Abbey is one pick away. The same search sits above your home location, where we keep only your town and the first part of your postcode, as before. Only what you type in the box goes to Google; we keep Google's reference for a venue you pick, never its map pin. Wedding planners get the same search when adding a client.
- ✨ New Your venue's full address now appears on your guests' invitation, in the invitation email, in the "Add to Calendar" file and on your wedding website: the venue name, its street, your town and your postcode.
- 🐛 Fixed Your wedding website's Event Details now follow the venue in Wedding Settings until you type your own, instead of keeping a copy from the day the website was made. If your website still shows an old venue, clear the venue name and address in the website editor and it will follow your settings from then on.
- ⚡ Improved If you set up your wedding before today, Wedding Settings will ask you once to confirm your venue — find it, enter it yourself, or tick "We haven't chosen a venue yet" — before it saves anything else, so your guests get the full address on their invitations.
- ⚡ Improved Setting your venue is now one search box. Type the venue's name, pick it from the list, and you'll see its address just as guests will. If it isn't quite right, or your venue isn't listed, choose "Edit the address" and type it yourself.
- 🐛 Fixed A supplier whose business is suspended now keeps only its dashboard and its existing bookings, so couples already booked with them can still see things through. Before, only blog campaigns were closed to them.
- 🐛 Fixed Setting up a second wedding no longer cancels the invitation you sent your partner for the first one.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers' emails and alerts about a cancelled booking, a completed milestone or a milestone coming due now open the booking in the supplier portal, instead of an error page.
- 🐛 Fixed Typing an impossibly large amount into your budget, a supplier's price or an estimated price now shows a clear error instead of an error page.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest's meal choice now belongs only to the wedding they picked it for. Someone going to two weddings no longer arrives at the second with the first wedding's meal already chosen, on your guest list, caterer's summary, exports or seating plan. Allergies still follow the guest, as they always have.
Safer planner handovers, bigger photos, fewer stuck screens and a clearer privacy notice
- ✨ New You can now ask us to stop recording your visits to the site, with the "Stop recording my visits" button in our privacy notice, linked from the footer of every page.
- ⚡ Improved If we can't find your business address on the map, your Business page now tells you and explains how to fix it. We also try again automatically every few hours, so you won't drop out of searches near a couple's wedding without knowing.
- ⚡ Improved Big photos, including full resolution 48 megapixel iPhone shots, now upload to albums, the guest photo page, chat, your wedding website and supplier galleries instead of failing with an error. Anything over 52 megapixels is turned away with a clear message saying to save a smaller copy.
- ⚡ Improved Planners: only somebody running a client's wedding can now send or resend the couple's invitation. An invitation that can no longer be used shows as "Invite needs resending" on your client list.
- ⚡ Improved Budget, wedding website and gift list reminder emails are no longer sent to couples who have already set those up.
- ⚡ Improved Town and city supplier pages with local suppliers are now listed for search engines, and sharing a supplier's profile now shows the business's own picture instead of our general card.
- ⚡ Improved Buttons that delete or remove something are now shown in red, so they stand apart from everyday buttons.
- ⚡ Improved Our privacy notice now explains the short record we keep of the pages people visit and the actions they take, kept for 60 days to find and fix problems. It never includes what you type or your IP address.
- ⚡ Improved Members of our team who also plan a wedding or run a business now land on their own dashboard when they sign in, instead of the admin area, with an Admin link in the menu.
- ⚡ Improved If one of our automatic background jobs fails, our team is now emailed straight away, so problems are fixed before anyone notices.
- 🐛 Fixed Publishing your wedding website no longer gets stuck if you close the "add an RSVP section?" prompt with Escape or by clicking outside it. Closing it cancels, "Publish without it" publishes as it is, and if the RSVP section can't be added we tell you and don't publish.
- 🐛 Fixed Guests on wedding websites using a designer template no longer see a false red "page modified" warning, and those sites keep the details search engines use to show your wedding.
- 🐛 Fixed Uploading an iPhone HEIC photo now explains that HEIC files can't be opened yet and asks for a JPEG, instead of a confusing "must be an image" error. Guests uploading through their invitation now see why a photo was turned away, and the upload boxes show the real 15 MB limit.
- 🐛 Fixed A photo that can't be opened no longer leaves a stray copy on our servers, and a refused header, profile or cover photo now leaves the current one in place.
- 🐛 Fixed Changing your business address to one we can't find no longer leaves you showing up at your old address.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers who aren't planning a wedding now see their profile page inside the supplier portal rather than the wedding planner.
- 🐛 Fixed Replying to a support ticket that was marked resolved now reopens it and lets our team know, so a follow up question is never missed.
- 🐛 Fixed A finished blog campaign now stays finished. If our team puts a supplier on hold, their running blog campaigns are paused rather than finished, so they can start them again once the hold is lifted.
- 🔒 Security A planner who hands a wedding to the couple and steps away, and colleagues who aren't on the wedding, can no longer invite anyone in as an owner. Any invitation they had waiting is withdrawn, and the wedding leaves the business's client list once nobody from the business is still planning it.
- 🔒 Security Pictures sent in chat are now deleted along with the messages when chat history reaches the end of its retention period.
- 🔒 Security Closing a supplier account now deletes its identity verification documents, which were being left in storage.
- 🔒 Security Choosing one of your album photos as your wedding cover no longer publishes the photo's hidden details, such as where it was taken.
- 🔒 Security Very large PNG pictures are now turned away with a message suggesting a JPEG, so one upload can't take up a large share of the server's memory.
Contracts and disputes, insurers, whole UK suppliers and security fixes
- ✨ New Wedding insurers now have their own category and page in the supplier directory, and can choose it when they list their business. Couples can filter insurers by the cover they sell, from wedding insurance to public liability for the day. Insurers already listed under Other have moved across automatically.
- ✨ New Insurers can show their FCA firm reference number on their listing, so couples can look them up on the FCA register before buying.
- ✨ New Some suppliers, such as insurers and stationers who post, can now be set by our team to cover the whole UK. They appear in every town's results, recommendations and planning emails, always after the suppliers based there, and are labelled "Covers the whole UK".
- ✨ New Suppliers our team has set to cover the whole UK can now send a campaign to the whole UK instead of one area. It still only reaches couples who have opted in to offers, at most once a month from each supplier, and only after our team approves it.
- ✨ New Suppliers can now send a contract from the booking page once a couple accepts their proposal. It is filled in from the booking, can include the supplier's own terms as a PDF, sets out payment terms and the instalment schedule, and has a sign-by date (two weeks unless the supplier changes it, and they can extend it).
- ✨ New Couples sign a contract by ticking to agree and typing their name, and anyone who manages bookings for the wedding can sign. Both sides are emailed the signed copy as a PDF, and the booking is confirmed.
- ✨ New Couples can ask for changes to a contract, which the supplier accepts or turns down with a reason, or decline it. A declined or expired contract leaves the booking open so the supplier can send a new version, and a signed contract only changes when a new version is signed.
- ✨ New Couples and suppliers can raise a dispute about a booking, swap messages and evidence, close it, or ask our team to step in. The booking pauses while the dispute is open and carries on from where it was when it closes, and our team is told automatically after a week without a reply.
- ✨ New Every contract says plainly that the agreement is between the couple and the supplier, that we are not part of it and don't check its terms, and that payments go straight to the supplier.
- ⚡ Improved The Service Area screen now says plainly that a supplier is shown across the whole UK only when our team sets it on request, rather than suggesting that leaving the travel distance empty does it.
- ⚡ Improved Supplier emails about enquiries, bookings, prices and your calendar link now go only to team members whose role covers them, instead of the whole team.
- ⚡ Improved New suppliers now get an email when their business is set up saying what happens next, their dashboard says plainly whether couples can see them yet, the onboarding steps count correctly, and signing in takes a supplier-only account to the supplier portal.
- ⚡ Improved Bookings now follow the same steps on both sides, from new request to confirmed, and declining a new booking request asks you to confirm first.
- 🐛 Fixed Token bundles are now priced from the current token price, with a bigger saving on bigger bundles (5%, 10% and 15%) shown on each one, so a bundle never costs more than buying the same tokens as a custom amount.
- 🐛 Fixed Supplier recommendations on your dashboard, in your budget and in the marketplace now suggest suppliers in your own town, plus those our team has set to cover the whole UK, instead of suppliers from anywhere in the country.
- 🐛 Fixed Unlocking an enquiry now charges exactly the price you were shown. If it changed in the meantime, you see the new price and nothing is taken until you confirm.
- 🐛 Fixed The website editor no longer loses your last few words if you click Save straight after typing, and it now tells you whether everything is saved.
- 🐛 Fixed Opening a notification about one of your weddings now takes you to that wedding, even if you last had a different one open.
- 🐛 Fixed Your dashboard no longer fails to load in the last fortnight before the wedding if the weather service is down — the forecast card simply stays hidden until it is back.
- 🐛 Fixed Your dashboard reminders, planning emails, wedding picker and the guest numbers suppliers see no longer count the two of you as guests, so a new wedding no longer shows two guests invited and all replied.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers with no wedding of their own now land in the supplier portal however they get there, including confirming their email, opening the sign-in page while signed in, restoring their account and the Dashboard link on the site and error pages.
- 🐛 Fixed Adding another wedding now counts its own steps, 1 of 6 to 6 of 6, and running short of tokens while unlocking an enquiry now says "to unlock this lead".
- 🔒 Security The site now only answers on its own web address and couples' wedding-website addresses, so a forged address can no longer be written into links, including password-reset emails.
- 🔒 Security The library that makes seating-plan and caterer PDFs has been updated to fix six reported weaknesses.
- 🗑️ Removed Other no longer offers wedding insurance as a supplier type, so every insurer has one home in the directory.
A home for wedding businesses
- ✨ New Wedding businesses have their own page explaining how to list free, what they get, and how pay as you go marketing works, linked from the footer of every page.
- 🐛 Fixed The blog editor in our admin area no longer shows lines of stray code above an article's content blocks, and its warnings about repeated blocks only appear when there really is more than one.
Token refunds paid by bank transfer
- ⚡ Improved Token refunds are paid by bank transfer, and the email confirming yours now says which account it went to (the last four digits) and the payment reference, so you can match it on your statement.
- ⚡ Improved Our privacy notice now says exactly what we keep when we pay you a refund: the amount, date, reference, account holder's name, sort code and the last four digits of the account number, never the full account number.
- 🗑️ Removed Token refunds can no longer be paid back to the card you bought tokens with. Every refund is now paid by bank transfer, and we will contact you to confirm the account first.
A new admin, clearer decisions, and new planning guides
- ✨ New Three new free guides for couples: how a free wedding website works, a month-by-month wedding planning checklist, and a wedding budget planner. Each one shows what the tool does before you sign up.
- ⚡ Improved The guest list and table plan pages now answer the questions couples ask about templates and spreadsheets, and the table plan page uses the UK term "table plan" alongside "seating plan".
- ⚡ Improved If a review you wrote is turned down, we now keep a note of why, and can include that reason in the email we send you.
- ⚡ Improved If you raise a dispute about a booking, our team can now step in and settle it at any stage, not only once it has been escalated — both sides are emailed the outcome as before.
- ⚡ Improved Our team's admin area has been rebuilt from the ground up, so requests like refunds, verifications and support tickets are handled faster and with extra checks on anything that moves tokens.
- 🐛 Fixed The "View campaign" link in the email telling a supplier their campaign was approved or turned down now opens the campaign in their own portal.
Easier to use with a keyboard or screen reader
- ⚡ Improved Screen readers now tell you what happened after you send a form. Messages like "Guest added" or "That didn't save" are read out, and if something needs fixing, the cursor moves to the first field with a problem and reads out what's wrong. Every error message across planning, supplier and admin pages is now tied to its field.
- ⚡ Improved Form fields across planning, supplier and admin pages are now properly labelled for screen readers — about 200 of them used to be read out without a name. Clicking a field's label now puts you in the field, and sets of options (allergies, roles, days of the week, price ranges) are read out with their heading.
- ⚡ Improved Search boxes, filters, date pickers, chat boxes and the quick-add rows on bookings, hen and stag plans and your planning board now tell a screen reader what they're for — about 220 of them used to have no name at all. On the RSVP page, each guest's notes, email, meal and allergy choices now say whose they are.
- 🐛 Fixed Picking a guest's allergies when adding them from the seating plan now works with the keyboard, like everywhere else.
- ⚡ Improved The on/off switches on your email notification settings now say what each one controls when you reach them with a screen reader. Before, they were read out as unnamed checkboxes.
- ⚡ Improved Supplier cards in the directory now read properly with a screen reader: each card is headed by the supplier's name, which is the link to their profile, instead of the whole card being read out as one long link. The photo arrows say whose photos they are and announce which photo you're on, ratings are read as "rated 4 out of 5", and you can still click anywhere on a card to open it.
Fixes from the bug hunts
- ⚡ Improved The seating plan has a new "List view" button on computers. It shows who still needs a seat and who is on each table, and seating someone is a simple pick-a-table form — so you can do your whole seating plan with a keyboard or screen reader, not just by dragging.
- ⚡ Improved Wedding chat now works with a keyboard and screen reader: conversations and search results can be opened with Enter, new messages are read out as they arrive, reactions are proper buttons, and the new-conversation and confirm pop-ups keep focus inside them and hand it back when they close.
- ⚡ Improved The light/dark switch and the supplier directory's Compare tick-box can now be reached and used with the keyboard, and screen readers are told when you've hit the three-supplier compare limit.
- ⚡ Improved The wedding website editor now works with a keyboard and screen reader: every field is labelled, sections open with Enter, there are Move up / Move down buttons as well as dragging, photo upload buttons can be reached with Tab, and each photo button says what it does.
- ⚡ Improved Your guests' gift list is easier to use with a keyboard or screen reader: each "Claim gift" button says which gift it's for, the form's fields are properly labelled, focus moves into the form when it opens, and if a claim can't be accepted the form reopens with the reason instead of quietly closing.
- ⚡ Improved The tag-style pickers for a guest's allergies, meal choice and roles, who's on an invitation, and a supplier's campaign interests now work with the keyboard (Tab to reach, Space to pick, arrow keys between meal options) and are read out properly by screen readers. Budget categories, payment schedules and gift list items can now be opened with Enter or Space too.
- ⚡ Improved Keyboard and screen-reader users can now skip straight past the menu to the page itself, and every planning, supplier and admin page now announces its title as the page heading.
- ⚡ Improved If we ever take a supplier's listing down, they're now emailed straight away with the reason and what to do next, instead of finding out by noticing it has gone.
- 🐛 Fixed Guests who sent their RSVP without choosing attending, can't make it or not sure for someone in their party used to be told it was all saved. They're now told who still needs a reply, and if something on the form can't be accepted they see why instead of nothing at all.
- 🐛 Fixed Going back a step while setting up your wedding and sending the details again used to create a second wedding. It now updates the one you'd already started.
- 🐛 Fixed On a phone, longer pop-up forms — adding a budget supplier or a gift, sending invitations, creating a role — could hide their Save button below the browser's toolbar. They now fit the visible screen and scroll to the button.
- 🐛 Fixed The seating plan no longer says "Saved" when a change didn't actually save — if your session has expired, you'll see "Save failed" instead. Tables also stop growing when you reach the largest size the plan can hold, rather than letting you drag them bigger than will save.
- 🐛 Fixed When a supplier sends you a new quote for a booking that's already in your budget, the budget line now updates to the new figure instead of keeping the old one.
- 🐛 Fixed When setting up your wedding, the venue town now has to be picked from the list of UK places — the same as in your wedding settings — so it can't land on a town of the same name abroad.
- 🔒 Security The "forgot password" page now gives the same answer whether or not an address has an account, so it can't be used to find out who uses the site, and it limits how often it can be asked.
- 🔒 Security Changing or resetting your password now signs you out on every other device, including any browser where you'd ticked "keep me signed in".
- 🔒 Security Changing your account's email address now needs your current password, and the warning that it changed is sent to your old address — the one that can actually raise the alarm — rather than the new one.
- 🔒 Security Deleting your account now also signs out every other device you were signed in on, and removes any password-reset link and browser notification subscription we held for you.
- 🔒 Security When an account is erased, the partner invitation that named them no longer keeps their name and email, and a removed guest's email no longer lingers on a hen/stag list or a gift pledge.
Seeing who has verified their email, and venues that stay in the UK
- ⚡ Improved The admin's view of a person now shows when they verified their email address — or that they haven't yet — right under the address.
- ⚡ Improved The admin's people list now shows how long after registering each person last signed in — a quick read on who came back.
- 🐛 Fixed Typing just a town for your venue — "Bathgate", say — now finds the UK one rather than a namesake abroad, so distances from your venue are measured from the right place.
Numbers that weren't true, and articles that finally point somewhere
- ✨ New Every planning article now ends with where to go next — the tool that does the job the article just described, and a couple of related reads. Only where it genuinely follows on: an article about dietary requirements points you at RSVP tracking, one about who to invite points you at the guest list, and one about wedding rings points you at neither, because it shouldn't.
- ⚡ Improved The bottom of the home page invited you to "join thousands of couples". There aren't thousands yet — there are a handful — so it now says the thing that is true, and that you probably wanted to know at that point anyway: free forever for couples, no card, no trial, no subscription.
- 🐛 Fixed A placeholder listing called "Test vendor" was live in the supplier directory — counted in the "verified vendors" total, and suggested to you inside one of our articles. It was never a real business. It is off the public site now, so the directory total and the supplier suggestions in articles only include real suppliers.
Telling us why you're going
- ✨ New If you delete your account we now ask, optionally, what took you away and how we could have been better. It changes nothing about your deletion, there's nothing offered in return, and what you write is erased along with your account.
Confirming your email address
- ✨ New New accounts now confirm their email address before getting into the app — a link lands in your inbox and one click is the whole of it. Everyone who already had an account is treated as confirmed, so nothing changes for you.
- ✨ New Setting your password from a link we emailed you now counts as confirming that address, so guests joining a wedding don't get asked twice.
Titles, where you actually need them
- 🐛 Fixed Names with an apostrophe in them are read properly — O'Donnell-O'Brien is a surname, not a nickname called "Donnell-O". Very long names no longer fail to save, and a title or nickname column in a CSV import can't break the import part-way through.
- 🐛 Fixed The name field had gone missing from your profile page, so saving anything there — your title, your email — failed with "The name field is required" and there was no way to change your own name. It's back.
- ✨ New Everyone on your guest list now has a "Known as" — what people actually call them. An envelope wants "Ms Parminder Bhachu"; a place card wants "Pami". You can set it when you add a guest, on their page, on your own profile, and as a column in a CSV import. Leave it blank and everything reads exactly as it does now.
- ⚡ Improved We now read each name into a first name and a surname behind the scenes, so your guest list can be sorted the way a seating chart and a caterer's sheet actually are — by surname. One-word names like "Bobby" stay whole, middle names are kept, and surnames with spaces in them (van der Berg, de la Cruz) are no longer cut in half on your stationery. If any of it reads wrong, you can correct it.
- ⚡ Improved A CSV import now understands optional "title", "known as", "first name" and "surname" columns. If your spreadsheet already keeps names in separate columns we'll use them rather than working it out ourselves.
- ✨ New We now ask for your title when you sign up, and for your partner's when you set up your wedding — so place cards, the caterer's sheet, invitations and thank-you notes are addressed properly without you filling them in later. Not on the list? Type your own. Once your account has a title, setting up another wedding won't ask again — it's yours, not the wedding's, and you change it on your profile.
- ⚡ Improved Setting up a wedding now asks about the two of you on one screen and the day itself on the next, instead of putting seven questions on one. Nothing is saved until you finish the second screen, so stopping halfway no longer leaves a half-made wedding behind.
- 🐛 Fixed You can always change your own title from your own entry on the guest list. It was locked with a note saying only you could change it — shown to you, about you, which was nonsense. The same note on your email address now says plainly that it's your sign-in address and where to change it.
- 🐛 Fixed You can now set someone's title — Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr and so on — when editing a guest who is already on your list. It was only offered when adding somebody new, which meant every guest added before titles existed was stuck without one. Where a guest has set up their own account, their title stays theirs and the field shows it read-only.
Settings that actually save
- 🐛 Fixed Several settings on the admin settings page quietly threw away every change while still reporting that they had been saved — how long a support ticket may wait before it is flagged, how many warning points suspend an account, and how long a warning lasts. They now save.
- 🐛 Fixed What a marketing campaign costs a supplier per couple reached was not on the settings page at all, so the figure behind every campaign quote could not be changed without a developer. It now sits on the Token Economy tab, alongside a per-category lead price and the list of payment providers a couple may link their gift registry to.
- 🐛 Fixed The 90-day grace period a closed account is kept for — the promise shown to anyone closing their account — is now visible and editable rather than fixed in code.
- 🗑️ Removed The settings left behind by the per-article blog auction, which was replaced by blog campaigns in August. The tab offered a reserve price, a bid increment and a bidding window for something that no longer exists.
Closing a way into someone else's account
- ✨ New You can add a title — Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms, Mx, Dr, or anything else you use — to your own profile and to anyone on your guest list. It appears on place cards, the caterer's sheet, your guest list, the exports and thank-you notes. Entirely optional: leave it blank and everything reads exactly as it does now.
- ✨ New If it's useful, you can say whether you're marrying as a bride, a groom, a partner, or whatever word fits you — some suppliers ask. It's optional, it's free text rather than a list to pick from, and you can leave it blank.
- ⚡ Improved Before you delete your account, we now tell you exactly what we are required to keep — quotes, contracts and invoices you exchanged with a supplier, and anything you attached to a dispute. The screen previously said everything would be erased, which was not the whole truth.
- 🐛 Fixed A brand-new wedding's dashboard said you had invited 2 guests and that 100% of them had replied, before you had added anyone — the two of you were being counted as guests you had invited. It now starts empty, and the prompt to add your first guest appears as it was meant to.
- 🔒 Security Preview images uploaded with a website template design were not virus-scanned, unlike every other upload on the platform. They are now.
- 🐛 Fixed The time-slot buttons when asking a supplier about a date were unstyled and gave no sign of which one you had picked — a stylesheet error from 2 September had silently disabled them, along with the supplier availability charts.
- 🐛 Fixed Buttons that cancel, decline or delete something looked identical to ordinary buttons like "Download". They now read as what they are.
- 🐛 Fixed The supplier working-hours sign-up step showed hidden screen-reader labels as visible text through the middle of the form.
- 🐛 Fixed Supplier trust scores were stuck at whatever they were when the business was first approved, so replying quickly and earning good reviews never improved them — and that score helps decide who couples see first. They are now recalculated every night.
- 🔒 Security A couple could put another person's email address on their guest list and then change it, which sent them the link to set that person's password. Correcting a mistyped address now only works on an account your own wedding created.
- 🐛 Fixed If a token purchase went wrong after payment — a mis-signed notification from Stripe, or a business closed mid-checkout — the tokens were not credited and nothing was recorded anywhere. Every one of those now leaves a trail so it can be put right, and a business that closed during checkout still gets its tokens.
Honest numbers and honest wording
- ⚡ Improved "Top rated" on the supplier directory now means what it says. It ranks by the reviews couples leave after a booking, counting suppliers with at least five, and places everyone else by their trust score. Previously it sorted on a review table nothing wrote to, so those pages were effectively unordered.
- 🔒 Security Photos published on your wedding website or used as your cover are now stripped of hidden camera data when you upload them — including the GPS location a phone records, which could reveal where a photo was taken.
- 🐛 Fixed Very large camera photos could fail to upload with an error page. They are now resized on the way in.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers who set a different bid for a particular blog section were ranked on that bid but charged their campaign bid instead — sometimes more than they had agreed for that section, sometimes less. You are now charged the bid that won the slot.
- 🐛 Fixed Typing a place into the marketplace Location box did nothing — you were shown suppliers near your own venue while the page displayed your search as an active filter. It now searches where you asked.
- 🐛 Fixed Choosing one of your own album photos as your wedding cover could never work. The photos showed as broken images and then said "no longer available". Both are fixed.
- 🐛 Fixed Deleting your last allergy in Settings → Guests produced an error page.
- 🐛 Fixed A meal choice longer than 100 characters could be saved but then blocked your guests from replying at all. Guests can now choose any option you have set.
- 🐛 Fixed "See all" under Still to book on your dashboard showed a page of raw data instead of the supplier list.
- 🐛 Fixed Saved Suppliers kept showing businesses that are no longer listed, and clicking them gave a "not found" page.
- 🐛 Fixed Sorting suppliers by price, low to high, put everyone who hasn't published a price at the top.
- 🐛 Fixed On a guest list of more than 50, a guest could appear on two pages or on neither.
- 🔒 Security A supplier could change a price you had already agreed by attaching an invoice, without asking you and without updating your budget. Agreed prices now have to go through a change you accept.
- 🔒 Security A venue or location typed into a search or settings box could be crafted to run code in another visitor's browser on our public supplier pages. Fixed everywhere that pattern was used.
- 🐛 Fixed Any location with an apostrophe in it — King's Cross, St John's Wood, Bishop's Stortford — showed as an empty box, and saving the page then wiped the venue you had stored.
- 🐛 Fixed Guests could receive the "final reminder" to RSVP and then the gentler reminder the next morning.
- 🐛 Fixed An invitation email that hit a momentary problem with the mail provider used up all three retries within a second and was silently lost, even though the screen said it had sent. Retries are now spaced out and failures are recorded.
- 🐛 Fixed If one account could not be erased at the end of its 90-day deletion window, every account waiting behind it was skipped too, silently.
- 🔒 Security Replying to an invitation now carries the same hourly limit as the sign-up link it shares code with, so whoever holds an invitation cannot flood a couple's inbox with account requests.
- ✨ New You can now raise a dispute on a booking at any stage — including after the wedding, which is when most problems actually surface. Previously the button existed but could never be used.
- 🔒 Security Supplier bookings now need the "See enquiries" permission in full, including contracts, invoices and the conversation with the couple. Your default roles all include it.
- ⚡ Improved Deleting your account now clears the contents of emails we sent you straight away rather than up to three months later, removes your name from gifts you pledged on other couples' registries, and takes your wedding's chats and photos with it instead of leaving them behind.
- 🐛 Fixed While editing your wedding website, the countdown preview showed a day more than the published page for most of the year, and read "1 days to go" on the morning of the wedding itself. It now matches the live page, says "today" on the day, and counts up afterwards.
- 🐛 Fixed If we turned down a token refund, the tokens came back to your balance but could never be offered for refund again — the refundable figure stayed permanently lower. It now returns in full.
- 🐛 Fixed Your "total spent" left out leads you had unlocked and blog placements you had bought, so it read lower than what you had actually spent.
- 🐛 Fixed Dragging two guests onto the same chair at almost the same moment could leave both of them sitting there. Seating is now handled one move at a time, and the same chair cannot be taken twice.
- 🐛 Fixed When our team resolved a dispute you had escalated, nobody was told the outcome — despite the escalation email promising we would contact both parties — and the booking stayed stuck as disputed, so it could never be marked complete. Both are fixed, and the resolution we wrote is now the one you read.
- 🐛 Fixed Dispute resolution emails always said "Resolution: No details provided." A dispute settled between you and your supplier now says so plainly instead.
- 🐛 Fixed After the wedding, the guest portal still said "it's today!" and the sidebar still read "0 days until" — for ever. Both now say how long ago it was, and on the day itself the sidebar says "Today" rather than counting zero.
- 🐛 Fixed Between midnight and 1am in the summer the countdown was a day out, so a couple checking in the early hours of their wedding morning was told there was still a day to go.
- 🐛 Fixed For a wedding on the 29th, 30th or 31st, planning checklist dates skipped a month — a task meant for late February landed in early March instead.
- 🔒 Security The email and alert telling a supplier's team that an enquiry had arrived included the couple's real name — before the supplier had unlocked the lead, and even where the couple was meant to stay anonymous until they chose to reply. It now just says an enquiry has arrived, and the supplier portal decides who may see whose name.
- 🐛 Fixed A booking you had cancelled could be brought back to life by accepting a proposal the supplier had already sent — the Accept button stayed on the page after cancelling, and pressing it made the booking active again while still recording that you had cancelled it. Cancelled and completed bookings no longer ask you to respond to anything.
- 🔒 Security The "See enquiries" permission in your team roles was listed and offered but never actually checked, so a team member you had not given it to could still read every enquiry, every couple's details on an unlocked lead, and the conversations attached to them. It is now enforced, and the Enquiries link is hidden from anyone without it. Your default roles all include it, so nothing changes unless you had deliberately unticked it.
- 🔒 Security Publishing or deleting a venue floor plan, recommending another business, submitting your verification documents, and adding or inviting a planner's client were all open to any team member. Each now needs the matching permission.
- 🐛 Fixed Closing one of your businesses locked you out of the supplier area entirely — every page errored, including the business switcher you would have needed to get back in. Closing a business now simply removes it from the switcher.
- 🐛 Fixed When a couple deleted their wedding, the supplier's page for that booking and its whole chat stopped loading, and because the booking could then never be cancelled or completed the supplier could no longer close their business or delete their account. The booking now stays readable.
- 🐛 Fixed A token refund requested just before a business closed could be neither approved nor rejected, leaving the tokens held and the money unpaid.
- 🐛 Fixed If you subscribe to your supplier diary in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, every booking and closure showed an hour late between late March and late October, and a whole day you had closed appeared as 1am to midnight the following day. Times now arrive exactly as they read in your diary, and a closed day shows as a full day.
- 🐛 Fixed Using the "Manage email preferences" link at the bottom of an email to switch off one kind of message also quietly switched off all of your helpful planning emails — the guest-list nudges, save-the-date reminders, seating prompts and big-day tips — because that page does not list them. It now changes only the settings it actually shows you, and anything switched off this way can be turned back on from Notification Settings.
- 🔒 Security Adding a gift to your registry by pasting a shop link now checks every address that link points at before fetching the page, and connects only to the one it checked. Previously a specially-crafted link could have persuaded the site to fetch something on our own network and report back what it saw.
- 🐛 Fixed You could save a supplier from the marketplace and then had no way to see your saved list. "Saved Suppliers" is now in the sidebar, where it should always have been.
- 🐛 Fixed Every supplier's "Response Time" score showed 0 out of 20 on their public profile, however fast they actually replied — the score was never being worked out. It now measures the time from a couple's enquiry to the supplier's first reply, which also lifts the cap that was holding every supplier's overall score to 80.
- 🐛 Fixed When a guest pledged towards a honeymoon fund, the email to the couple said the guest had "contributed" the money. Nothing had been taken — we never handle gift money. The email now says pledged, and says plainly that the couple needs to check it arrives.
- 🐛 Fixed The privacy policy said deleted accounts are removed within 30 days. The actual grace period is 90 days, which is what the rest of the app has always said.
Safer booking decisions
- 🐛 Fixed If a supplier left a booking page open while the couple confirmed it, clicking "decline" on that stale page cancelled the confirmed booking and emailed the couple to say their enquiry had been turned down. The page now says the booking has moved on and changes nothing.
Campaigns that stop are noticed
- 🐛 Fixed Moving between pages in dark mode flashed white for a moment. Every page now states its background before anything is downloaded, so the colour is right from the first frame rather than after the stylesheet arrives.
- 🐛 Fixed When a supplier asked to change their web address they were told we would let them know — and nobody here was told anything. Address requests now have their own queue in the admin area, with a count in the sidebar, and an email goes out when one arrives.
- 🐛 Fixed The enquiry form on a single service or act's page was unstyled — plain browser boxes with the labels jammed against them. It now looks like every other enquiry form, and carries the same spam protection, which that page had been missing.
- 🐛 Fixed The phone number on your business details, your contact tab and each listing would accept anything at all — including the word "Telephone Number". All three now check it is a number, while still accepting the spaces, brackets and +44 people write them with.
- 🐛 Fixed In Microsoft Edge, the password fields in your account settings showed Edge's own "reveal" eye as a dark smudge on the dark background. It is now visible.
- ⚡ Improved The site holds together properly in Windows High Contrast mode — buttons, fields and the keyboard focus ring keep a visible outline instead of disappearing into the background.
- 🐛 Fixed Moving a guest to a different table from their own record kept the seat number they had at the old table, which could sit two people in the same chair. Moving a guest now gives up their old seat, and the plan re-flows them.
- 🐛 Fixed A deleted chat message vanished from the supplier's side of the conversation while the couple still saw that something had been there — so the two of you no longer agreed on the thread. Both sides now show the same history, with the deleted message's words removed but its place kept.
- 🐛 Fixed When a supplier declined an enquiry, no cancellation record was kept — though one was kept if they cancelled the same booking later. Both are recorded now, so the history of a booking is complete either way.
- 🐛 Fixed Guests who are only a name on a list — no account, no real email address — could still be sent emails by some parts of the app, which bounced. Nothing writes to a made-up address now.
- 🐛 Fixed A campaign whose sending stopped part-way through its audience did not appear on the admin "stalled deliveries" list, because that list only looked for campaigns that had sent nothing at all. Those are exactly the runs worth catching — the supplier has been charged in full — and they are now listed and requeued.
Found in more places, and told more
- 🔒 Security Identity documents are now permanently deleted as soon as we have reviewed them, and after 30 days whether we have reviewed them or not. We keep the record of the check, not the passport photograph behind it — and we email you when they are gone. Suppliers are told this before they upload anything.
- 🔒 Security Someone holding a forwarded invitation link but not its password could work out a couple's chosen meal options by watching how the RSVP form answered them. The form now refuses them before it looks at anything they sent.
- 🐛 Fixed Previewing your wedding website as a guest showed less than your guests actually see — the registry link, the seating and the "what am I invited to?" answer were all missing from the preview. The preview and the live site are now built the same way.
- 🐛 Fixed Adding someone to a hen or stag do quietly put them on your wedding's guest list without telling them, if they already had an account. They now get the same note as anyone else you add.
- 🐛 Fixed Opening a user's communications page showed every email at once, stacked, and the close button did nothing. Emails now open one at a time when you ask for them.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers were asked for their travel radius twice, and the answer on the Specifics tab was ignored. There is one place for it now — Service Area — and it is the one that decides where couples find you.
- ⚡ Improved "Typical hours of coverage" now says what it is: a guide for couples browsing. If you list services with their own durations, those are what get booked.
- 🐛 Fixed The placeholder buttons in the reply-template editor turned almost black when you hovered over them.
- 🔒 Security The site now tells browsers never to connect over plain HTTP.
- ✨ New A help guide for every part of the supplier portal — thirteen in all. Guides for features that are switched off are no longer listed, so a guide never describes something you cannot open.
- ✨ New Six more help guides for suppliers — getting started, verification, your profile, enquiries and bookings, team and roles, and tokens and billing. Every guide now ends with a link to open a support ticket.
- 🐛 Fixed The welcome email sent to new suppliers linked to a getting-started guide that had not been written yet, so the button led nowhere. The guide exists now.
- ✨ New Support can now read the email itself on a user's communications page, not just its subject line. The text of an email is kept for three months and then deleted, leaving the record that it was sent.
- 🐛 Fixed Admins could not sign in as an account whose email address was unverified — which is often exactly the account needing a look. That restriction was protecting nothing and has gone.
- 🐛 Fixed The Impersonate button on an admin's user page vanished with no explanation for accounts it cannot be used on. It now says which of the reasons applies.
- ✨ New New suppliers can be sent a short welcome-aboard email walking them through the four things that get them found by couples, and pointing at the getting-started guide.
- 🐛 Fixed Maps could have stopped drawing without warning after a routine security tightening. The map service is now named explicitly as something we expect to load.
- ✨ New Suppliers can now close a run of dates in one go — away, fully booked, or simply not taking work for a while. The dates reopen on their own afterwards, so there is nothing to remember to switch back on.
- ⚡ Improved Suppliers no longer set an availability status by hand. What couples see now comes from the actual diary, so a supplier can't appear "accepting bookings" on a day they are full, or stay marked unavailable months after they meant to.
- 🗑️ Removed The availability filter has gone from supplier search. One of its options could never match anything, and the others reported what a supplier once ticked rather than what their diary says.
- ✨ New Suppliers with acts, sites or vehicles around the country now appear wherever those are, not just at their head office. An agency in London with a band in Manchester shows up when you search Manchester — and the card tells you which of theirs is local to you, so you know why it is there.
- ✨ New Suppliers can now see their coverage drawn on a map while they set it, with a pin for each of their listings, instead of typing a number of miles and hoping.
- ✨ New Vendor details you were not being shown — capacity, styles, what is included — now appear on supplier pages in the marketplace. Signed in, you were seeing less than a stranger would.
- 🐛 Fixed Moving your header image around did nothing once you had zoomed in, because the zoom pulled it back to the middle. It now moves where you put it, and if an image is already the right shape for the banner the page says so rather than leaving a slider that does nothing.
- 🐛 Fixed Changing a team member's role from the team list silently did nothing in the browser. It works now.
- 🔒 Security Added the standard set of protective headers, so the private links we send you — invitations, calendar subscriptions, unsubscribe links — are no longer passed on to other websites you click through to.
Every upload is virus-scanned
- ⚡ Improved Your calendar subscription link now sits behind a "Get the link" button rather than filling the page, and the panel tells you when the link expires.
- 🐛 Fixed The "Install app" prompt appeared as bare unstyled text on the sign-in, register, password reset and onboarding pages. It now looks the same everywhere.
- ✨ New Your team's emails now follow their roles. Somebody who helps with your photographs is no longer emailed about token purchases and refunds, and everyone can choose what they hear about at Notifications in the vendor menu — their own settings only, covering both email and the bell.
- 🔒 Security Marketing campaigns could still be submitted while the feature was switched off, which placed a hold on a supplier's tokens. Every part of a switched-off feature is now properly closed, not just its front page.
- 🐛 Fixed When we reword or turn down part of a supplier's page, what we decided and why is now kept on their record permanently, instead of being overwritten the next time we looked at that part of their page.
- ⚡ Improved Your calendar subscription now tells your calendar app how often to check for changes, and no longer reports every booking as freshly edited each time it looks. Diaries that have not changed are left alone, so subscribed calendars are quieter and quicker to update.
- 🔒 Security The web server no longer records your calendar link in its logs. The link is your calendar's only password, and it was being written down every time your calendar checked for updates.
- ✨ New Reply templates can now include a lot more of a couple's details — their partner's name, the day of the week they are marrying on, how many days away it is, their venue by name, and your own first name for signing off. Twelve placeholders in all, up from six.
- ⚡ Improved The placeholder list now sits beside the message box while you write a template, instead of only at the top of the page. Click one and it drops in where your cursor is, so there is nothing to memorise or spell correctly.
- ✨ New You can now decide what each person on your team is allowed to do. Settings → Team → Roles lets you build your own roles — a weekend assistant who can only answer couples, say — and the Role column on the team list is now a dropdown, so you can move somebody between roles without removing and re-inviting them. Every permission is spelled out in plain language, because "spend the business's money" is worth reading twice before you grant it. The Owner role stays fixed so a team can never lock itself out of its own account.
- ⚡ Improved Inviting someone to your team is now a button that opens a window, so the team list is the first thing you see. If your role cannot invite people, you are no longer shown a form that would refuse you.
- ⚡ Improved You can now add several photographs to your gallery at once instead of one at a time. Captions are added to each photograph afterwards, where you can see what you are describing.
- 🐛 Fixed The block picker was offering blocks your page already had, and choosing one just reloaded the page without saying why. Blocks that only make sense once are no longer listed after you have added them.
- ⚡ Improved On your Profile Page, "Add a block" now sits at the top of the page and opens in a window, so the list of block types no longer pushes the page you are editing out of view.
- ⚡ Improved Your public page no longer puts a strip of photographs at the top on its own. Photographs now appear only where you place a Gallery block, so if you would rather show none, you can.
- ⚡ Improved The Specifics tab now explains what filling it in actually does — the answers appear on your public page, and the fields marked "Couples filter by this" decide whether you show up when a couple narrows their search. Leaving one of those blank takes you out of that search entirely.
- ⚡ Improved Two different things were both called "packages" and sat next to each other in the marketplace. The suppliers you are gathering for your own wedding are now your **shortlist**, and the ready-made groups of suppliers we put together are **collections**.
- ⚡ Improved Changing your service category now warns you first that the answers on your Specifics tab belong to the old category and will need filling in again — and clears them, rather than leaving them to reappear if you ever switch back.
- 🐛 Fixed Choosing a colour set for your profile page made almost no visible difference — the shades were so close to white that Sand, Blush and Slate looked identical. The sets are properly distinct now, and every one is still checked for readable contrast.
- 🐛 Fixed Replacing your calendar link closed the panel, so the new link you had just asked for was hidden again. It now stays open on the new link, and asks before replacing — every calendar subscribed to the old one stops updating.
- 🔒 Security Calendar subscription links now expire after a year, so a link that once got out cannot show your bookings for ever. We email you 30 days before, and a new link is one click away — your old one keeps working until you swap it.
- 🔒 Security Nine ways of uploading a file were not being virus-scanned, including verification documents, your gallery, header and profile images, chat photos, guest CSV imports and template files. All of them are scanned now, and a new check makes sure a future upload cannot be added without one.
- 🐛 Fixed Services and reviews looked unstyled in the profile page editor while appearing correctly on the live page. They now match.
Vendor profiles you can build yourself, honest cash funds, retention you control, and www works again
- ✨ New Your public profile page is now built from blocks, the same way our emails and wedding websites are. Headings, your own words, photographs, a gallery, a video, questions couples always ask, plus your services, listings, reviews, calendar and enquiry form — arranged in whatever order suits your business. Every vendor starts with a complete page, so nothing looks thin while you are still finding your feet.
- ✨ New Profile Page, in your vendor portal, is where you build it. Add a block, move it up or down, hide it while you think about it, or take it off for good — with a preview of exactly what couples will see under each one. Photographs come from the gallery you already keep. Pick one of five colour sets for the page, and choose plain, soft, accent or dark behind any block; the words and the background are always chosen together, so your page stays readable whatever you pick. Your services, listings, reviews, calendar and enquiry form go live the moment you save them. Anything you write or upload waits for one of us to read it first, and while it does, couples keep seeing the version we approved last — your page never goes blank because you are mid-sentence. If we send something back, the reason sits on the block itself.
- ✨ New The Profile Page editor now shows your whole page live beside the controls, in the colours and at the width couples actually see — the real page rather than an impression of it. It follows you as you type, and redraws the moment you try a different colour set, without saving a thing until you press Save. What you are looking at is your working copy, so anything still waiting to be checked shows there before it reaches couples; the label beside each block says which is which. On a narrower screen the preview drops underneath the controls instead.
- ✨ New Anything you write for your profile page is now read by a person before couples see it, and we read it inside your page rather than on its own, so a caption is judged where it actually sits. Your page never goes blank while you wait: whatever was approved before stays exactly where it is until we have looked at the new version. If something cannot go up you are told why in plain words and can send it straight back — and where it is a small thing, like a phone number in a caption, we will usually just fix the wording ourselves and tell you what we changed rather than hold your page up over it.
- 🐛 Fixed The photograph chosen for a wedding website's hero was never being used when the page was shared to social media — a link posted to Facebook or WhatsApp fell back to our default picture instead of the couple's own.
- 🔒 Security A vendor's own email address and phone number were being published in the hidden data search engines read from their profile page. Anyone viewing the page source could take them, which undercut the whole point of enquiring through us. They are no longer included, and search engines are pointed at the enquiry form instead.
- 🐛 Fixed Giving to a cash fund said "Thank you for your contribution!" as though the money had already been sent — it never had. Telling the couple you'd like to give now says exactly that, shows the amount you've promised, and hands you the couple's own payment link so you can send it straight away. Where the couple hasn't added one, it says they'll be in touch about how to send it.
- ⚡ Improved Cash fund totals now read "pledged" rather than "raised", on your wedding website, your registry and your dashboard, so you can tell what guests have promised apart from what has actually arrived.
- 🔒 Security The payment link on your registry can now only point at a payment provider we recognise — PayPal.Me, Monzo.me, Revolut.me, Wise and Starling to begin with — and guests are told where the link goes ("Pay via paypal.me") before they click. If you use a provider we haven't listed yet, just ask us and we'll add it.
- ⚡ Improved The registry setting is no longer labelled "External Payment URL". It asks where guests should send money, and says plainly that the money goes straight to you and never passes through us.
- ⚡ Improved The verification page now says plainly that only Wedding List Manager staff can see the documents you upload — your photo ID and selfie are never shown on your profile or to couples.
- 🐛 Fixed After confirming your email, the vendor portal said you were verified and visible to couples — when a member of our team still had to check your business by hand before it went live. It now says you are awaiting approval, on your dashboard and on the Verifications page, and explains what is being waited for.
- ✨ New Two more ways to describe your business when you sign up: a fleet of vehicles, and one venue with several spaces couples book separately. A car hire firm is now asked to add vehicles rather than packages, and a hotel with a ceremony room and a barn can list them as the spaces they are.
- ⚡ Improved "A range or catalogue" now sits second in the list of business types, where more of you were looking for it.
- ✨ New You can now decide what happens to your wedding chat after the day. Keep every message for as long as you like — that stays the default — or have the whole chat deleted a set number of months after your wedding day. Deleting is permanent and covers only this wedding's chat; your guest list, photos, budget and plans are untouched. Wedding Settings → Message Retention.
- 🔒 Security A supplier hand-picked into one of our wedding packages is now held to the same checks as everywhere else on the site. A business that had only confirmed its own email address, had its approval withdrawn, or been suspended was still being shown to couples inside a package. Whoever curates a package is now told which of its suppliers are hidden from couples, and why.
- 🔒 Security Once you have agreed a price with a supplier, they can no longer change it on their own. Any change they make to the price of a booking you have accepted now comes to you as a proposal on your booking page, with what you are on now and what they are asking for. Accept it and the price moves; decline it, or leave it as long as you like, and you stay on exactly what you agreed and the booking goes ahead as it is — there is no deadline and nothing lapses. Before you have agreed anything, suppliers quote and re-quote as freely as they always have.
- 🐛 Fixed www.weddinglistmanager.co.uk now goes to the main site instead of showing a not-found page. Links and bookmarks that include the www still work.
- 🐛 Fixed Sections on a vendor's profile were showing as bare text rather than in the page's usual cards, and prices and review comments had lost their layout.
- 🐛 Fixed A vendor's profile showed empty white boxes where their services and reviews will go before they had either. Those sections now appear only once there is something in them.
- ⚡ Improved While a business is waiting for one of our team to sign it off, every page of the vendor portal now says so and points to the documents that speed it up — not just the verification page, which is not where most people spend their time.
- 🐛 Fixed A profile page opened with the business's name written twice, once as the page title and again as the first heading. The first heading is now "Our Story".
- 🐛 Fixed Businesses that book out a roster — cars, acts, rooms, packages — were not showing that roster on a newly created profile.
- ✨ New While a business waits for one of our team to sign it off, they are now told to go ahead and fill in their business details, profile page, services and gallery while we review — the wait is no longer a dead end.
- ✨ New Admins can now decline to sign off a vendor with a reason, rather than only approving or fully unverifying. The vendor is emailed the reason, sees it throughout their portal, and keeps full access to keep working while it is addressed.
- ✨ New A vendor's own profile page now prices every service for your wedding date, the same way our directory cards and marketplace already do — the figure at the top of the page, the price against each service, and the price you're quoted at the booking form now all answer the same question the same way. Without a date, or for a vendor who charges the same every day, nothing changes.
- 🐛 Fixed A withdrawn or rejected campaign's spend history could lose its link back to the campaign when the campaign was deleted. Deleting a campaign no longer breaks that link.
- 🐛 Fixed A business whose name matched one of our own page names — "Profile", "Gallery", "Dashboard" and a couple of dozen others — was given a web address that could never be opened, with nothing to say so. Those addresses are now avoided when your page is first created, and any business already holding one has been moved to an address that works.
- ✨ New If another business is already trading under your name, your business details page now tells you so. Sharing a name is allowed — plenty of groups and franchises do — so nothing is blocked; where the other business is in your area too, one of our team looks at both before either goes live.
- ✨ New You can now choose your own web address. Business details → Settings lets you ask for one; we check the wording first, since it is public and people print it, and tell you either way. Your old address keeps working and sends people to the new one, so cards, links and anything already shared carry on working.
- 🐛 Fixed Buttons in our emails no longer carry an instruction that most email apps ignore or override anyway — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo!, Apple Mail and others all decide for themselves whether a link opens in a new window.
- 🐛 Fixed Choosing a colour set for your profile page appeared to do nothing. The colours only reached blocks you had already put on a coloured ground, so a page of plain blocks looked identical whichever set you picked. Your headings, card edges and paper now follow the set you choose.
- ✨ New Your header image and the photograph that represents you on directory cards now sit together in their own panel on your business details page, each with a live preview and the same zoom and position controls the gallery has. Your header can finally be moved inside its band, so faces sitting low in a photograph are no longer cropped out of your banner.
- ⚡ Improved The image that leads your directory card is now uploaded on your business details page rather than picked out of your gallery, and no longer takes up one of your gallery slots.
Availability that knows one car from a fleet, and deletion that leaves nothing behind
- ⚡ Improved Supplier prices now answer your own wedding date. A supplier who charges differently on a Saturday, or who has priced your day by hand, shows that figure while you browse — on their profile, on the directory, and on your shortlist — with the date it is for written underneath, instead of you meeting it for the first time at the booking form. Prices read exactly as before if you have not set a date yet, or if the supplier charges the same whatever the day.
- ⚡ Improved The budget page loads with far fewer database queries on a long payment schedule.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest on the couple's own web address who had forgotten the website password can now ask the couple for it. That request used to be bounced to a page that does not exist, taking the guest's name and email with it.
- 🐛 Fixed Claiming a gift from the registry on the couple's own web address now works and keeps the guest on that address. Before, the form sent the claim across to our own address, where a password-protected site refused it outright and an open one said thank you somewhere the guest had never been.
- 🐛 Fixed A budget line that follows one of your bookings can no longer be edited or deleted by hand. Doing so let a couple rewrite the agreed cost, remove instalments the supplier had recorded, or un-tick a payment that had been made — which is a dispute and belongs in the booking. Unlink the line first if you want to keep it your own way.
- 🐛 Fixed Payments scheduled relative to the wedding — "30 days before", say — now appear in the dashboard's Upcoming Payments, count towards the overdue-payments nudge, and carry a real date in the budget CSV and PDF. Until now they showed on the budget page only.
- 🐛 Fixed "Prepare day-of emergency kit" was landing on the wedding day itself instead of a fortnight before. It, and any half-month task, now sits where it belongs, and existing checklists have been corrected.
- 🐛 Fixed Claiming gifts from a registry, and sending enquiries to suppliers, were being cut off at half the allowance they were meant to have — five gifts a minute rather than ten, and two enquiries an hour rather than five.
- 🐛 Fixed A setup session that expired part-way through now sends you back to the first step with an explanation, rather than showing an error page when you save your budget, website or registry.
- 🔒 Security A couple's wedding website address is now minted for them and can no longer be set by hand. The settings form accepted any free label, so a website could have taken an address we keep for ourselves — a sign-in page, say — and served a couple's own pages there under our name.
- 🔒 Security A guest holding an invitation password could type a partner's or co-planner's email into the sign-up box and lock them out of their own wedding. Anyone the couple has already let in now stays in, whatever is typed into that form.
- 🔒 Security Vendor team roles were being shown but never enforced. Anyone you had added as Staff could buy tokens, ask for a refund, unlock leads, submit campaigns, rewrite your working week, send quotes and contracts, and cancel a booking. Those now belong to the roles you granted them to, and the money and marketing sections no longer appear for team members who cannot use them.
- 🔒 Security Someone with permission to manage your team could remove the last person able to manage roles, locking the business out of its own settings with no way back. That removal is now refused until somebody else can manage roles.
- 🔒 Security A vendor could mark a payment as "confirmed by the couple" on their own client's booking — the record a payment dispute would rest on. Only the couple and the people planning with them can confirm or query an instalment now.
- 🔒 Security The enquiry list and the vendor dashboard named the couple behind an enquiry before the lead had been unlocked, and an unlocked enquiry could still be turned into a booking or opened in chat. A couple stays anonymous everywhere until the vendor unlocks their enquiry.
- 🔒 Security Muting a vendor now stops their marketing campaigns as well as their messages. A couple who has asked a supplier to stop contacting them no longer receives that supplier's email or in-app campaigns, and the supplier's audience count never includes them. Suspended accounts and accounts being deleted are left out of every vendor campaign too.
- 🐛 Fixed Deleting a vendor account no longer erases the token ledger — which must be kept for seven years — or any couple's booking and signed contract with that vendor. The business is stripped of everything personal and kept as a record instead.
- 🐛 Fixed Accounts were judged idle on the last time a password was typed, so a couple on the site every week via "remember me" could be warned and purged after three years. Any activity now counts, and guests on someone else's list are never purged out from under the couple.
- ✨ New When something goes wrong — a car off the road, a room out of use — a vendor can move a booking onto another one of theirs, and the couple is emailed straight away with what it was, what it now is, and why. Only ones actually free for that date can be chosen, so a swap can never quietly double-book someone else.
- ✨ New A vendor moving a booking can also propose a different price, and only propose it. The swap happens straight away, but the price on your booking does not move unless you accept it on your booking page. Decline it, or leave it as long as you like, and you stay on the price you agreed with your booking exactly as it was — there is no deadline and nothing lapses. Your supplier is told either way, and a price you turn down can still be talked through in the booking chat.
- 🐛 Fixed A vendor who set their working hours saw every car, act or room as fully booked on the Roster tab and in their availability report, while the calendar beside it correctly showed them free. Working hours are now read as hours everywhere, not as closures.
- 🐛 Fixed Saving the admin "Edit User" form no longer strips the admin role from an admin account — including your own, which used to lock you out of the admin area until it was granted again from the command line. The form now shows the admin role as locked on those accounts.
- 🐛 Fixed When an admin changes someone's email address, the new address has to be verified before it counts, the same as when people change it themselves.
- 🐛 Fixed Removing a guest from the list now takes them off their invitation too. Before, they stayed on it — still counted as invited — and one reply through the link put them straight back on the list.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest's RSVP no longer wipes an allergy that isn't one of your tick-box options. Anything you recorded for them yourself — a shellfish allergy typed in on import, say — now survives their reply, so the caterer's summary keeps it.
- 🐛 Fixed Saving a guest's tags at one wedding no longer removes the tags they hold at another couple's wedding.
- 🐛 Fixed A couple whose planner set up their wedding, or a partner invited to one, can now accept the invitation when they already have an account. Signed in, it is a single click; signed out, signing in brings them straight back to the invitation instead of a dead end.
- 🔒 Security After an account was erased, our record of the emails we had sent it still carried the address and subject lines like "Your wedding on 12 June". Both are now scrubbed the moment the account is purged; only which notification went out, and when, is kept.
- 🐛 Fixed Deleting your account could close your vendor business while it still had a live campaign or a couple's booking in progress — commitments the business's own close button refuses on. Account deletion now stops on the same commitments and tells you which ones to finish first.
- 🐛 Fixed When a wedding was permanently erased, its photographs, thumbnails, cover photo, website pictures and chat pictures stayed on our servers — the website ones still reachable by link. Erasing a wedding now removes every file it owned, and deleting a single photo or a website clears its files too.
- ⚡ Improved Pausing a live campaign now stops the send that is already under way, instead of letting it run to the end of its audience.
- 🐛 Fixed A vendor's token balance is now worked out by adding up their whole ledger rather than reading whichever entry looks newest. Two entries written in the same second could tie, the balance was taken from whichever won the toss, and every balance written afterwards inherited the mistake.
- 🐛 Fixed Rejecting or withdrawing a campaign twice — a double-clicked button, or an admin rejecting at the same moment a vendor withdraws — could hand the held tokens back twice. Releasing a hold is now checked and written as a single step, so it happens once and only once.
- 🐛 Fixed A campaign whose sending stopped part-way is now picked up where it left off. It used to be abandoned: the campaign sat as "live" for ever, most of the couples were never contacted, and the vendor had been charged for all of them. Every couple is now reached exactly once and the campaign finishes properly.
- 🐛 Fixed A platform update going out to a long list could reach some couples twice. Sending now works through the list in short stretches, keeping a record as it goes, and pressing Send twice queues one delivery rather than two.
- 🐛 Fixed Booking one of a vendor's cars, acts or rooms no longer marks the whole business unavailable. A firm with five cars that lets one now has four still bookable, and only shows as fully booked when every one of them has gone.
- ✨ New Vendors with more than one thing to book get a calendar per item, plus an "all" view. Block out a single car for a service without closing the business, or close the business for the day and shut everything at once.
- ✨ New Blocked periods can span several days, so a winter closure or a fortnight away is one entry rather than fourteen clicks. Reopening a single day inside a longer closure reopens just that day and leaves the rest shut.
- ✨ New A hire firm can say it has three of something identical without naming each one, and the calendar counts them properly.
- ⚡ Improved Availability calendars now show partly booked days as their own state rather than lumping them in with fully booked. Couples are told how many are free only where that is genuinely useful — never a countdown of the last one or two.
- ✨ New Vendors can set the hours they normally work — which days, and between what times — so couples can pick a time as well as a date. Set it once and it repeats every week; holidays and one-off closures are unaffected.
- ✨ New Closures can repeat properly: every Sunday, every other weekend, the first Monday of the month, or an annual shutdown. Set it once instead of blocking the same day out over and over.
- ⚡ Improved New vendors are asked when they work as they sign up, and can skip it. Vendors already using the site keep taking whole-day bookings exactly as before until they choose to set their hours — nothing changes underneath anyone.
- ✨ New Services can say how long they take, how much turnaround they need afterwards, how many a vendor will do in a day, and how much notice they need. Couples are then offered real times rather than just a date.
- ✨ New Vendors with several cars, acts or rooms get a roster view — everything they own down the side, the month across the top — so "who is free on the 12th" is one glance.
- ✨ New Vendors can subscribe to their bookings and blocked dates in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. It is read-only and updates on its own, and the link can be replaced if it has been shared too widely.
- ✨ New Couples can join a waitlist for a vendor who is busy on their date, and get one email if it frees up. Entirely opt-in, nothing is reserved, and moving your wedding date takes your place on the list with you.
- ✨ New An enquiry can now say which car, act or room a couple wants and at what time, so vendors get a question they can answer rather than "are you free in July".
- ✨ New Vendors can price by date — a standing rule like "Saturdays and August cost more", or a single day priced by hand. A price set for a particular date always wins over a general rule.
- ✨ New Every service now has its own pricing page for setting those rules up, and it shows what the next few Saturdays actually cost once the rules have been applied. Where a date you priced by hand has overtaken one of your standing rules, the page says which rule it beat, so a band that has gone quiet is never a mystery.
- ⚡ Improved How long a service takes, the turnaround it needs afterwards, the most you will do in a day and the notice you need are all on the service form now, in plain words. Leaving any of them blank means no limit rather than zero.
- ⚡ Improved Prices on the booking form are worked out for your own wedding date rather than a quiet weekday, so a Saturday in August is quoted as one from the start.
- ⚡ Improved The favourites page shows which of your saved vendors are free on your wedding date, and how many.
- ✨ New Sending a quote now holds that date for the couple you quoted, so nobody is gazumped while they are deciding. Enquiries hold nothing, the hold runs out on its own, and vendors choose how long it lasts — or turn it off entirely — in My Business → Availability.
- ✨ New Vendors get an availability page of their own: how booked each car, act or room is over the next 30 to 365 days, and which enquiries never became bookings on dates that are still free. The second number is plainly labelled as an inference from today's calendar rather than a measurement, because it cannot know why a couple went elsewhere.
- ⚡ Improved Days off are left out of the utilisation sum entirely, so a fortnight away never reads as idle capacity.
- ✨ New Vendor profiles now show the times free on your wedding date. Pick one and your enquiry asks about it directly — nothing is held or booked, and the vendor still replies as they always have. Vendors who work by the day rather than by the hour simply say so.
- ✨ New Where a vendor books out particular cars, acts or rooms, you can say which one you mean before you enquire, and anything already taken at that time is greyed out.
- ✨ New A "tell me if this frees up" button on any vendor busy on your date, and a one-click way back off the list.
- ⚡ Improved Browse and search results say whether each vendor is free on your wedding date, and how many they have left where that is a useful number rather than a nudge. The public directory does the same once you are signed in.
- 🐛 Fixed Vendors who had set their working hours were showing as unavailable on every single date. Their calendars, profiles and directory cards now read correctly — working nine to five never meant they could not do a whole wedding.
- 🐛 Fixed Everything we send on a timer now runs on UK time. Through British Summer Time the 10am RSVP reminder had been going out at 11am, and the small-hours jobs ran on the wrong side of midnight for seven months of the year.
- 🐛 Fixed Milestone reminders arrived three mornings running and then went quiet on the day the milestone was actually due. Each one now goes out once, and a milestone due today is included rather than skipped. Moving the date means the reminder is sent again for the new one.
- 🐛 Fixed Contract expiry warnings had the same fault — two warnings beforehand, nothing on the last day a couple could sign. The warning now goes once, covers the expiry day, and a contract stays valid for the whole of its final day rather than expiring as that day began.
- 🐛 Fixed A single address the mail server refused during an RSVP reminder run used to stop the run dead, leaving every invitation after it unreminded — and marked the guests it had reached as already chased, so they were never chased again. Reminders now go through the mail queue, one bad address is logged and skipped, and nobody is marked as reminded until their email has actually gone.
- 🐛 Fixed Chat digests could reach the same person twice when a run was still going as the next one started, and the send-out jobs could double up on each other generally. Only one copy of each scheduled job now runs at a time.
- 🐛 Fixed When a couple asks for their chat to be deleted a set time after the wedding, that now actually happens — the messages are moved to our archive and cleared from the chat. Nothing was running the clean-up before.
- 🐛 Fixed If sending an invitation to a household failed part-way, the retry used to email the people it had already reached all over again. It now picks up where it stopped.
- ⚡ Improved Directory pages now cost the same to load whether there is one supplier on them or a full page of them.
- 🐛 Fixed Blocking a single car, act or room out for the day no longer closes the whole business. Your calendar and your public profile now show the day as partly booked with the number still free, and only reads as unavailable once every one of them is closed. Viewing one car's diary no longer picks up another car's day off either.
- 🐛 Fixed A vendor whose campaign was rejected and then deleted was told those tokens were still tied up — permanently, with no way to clear it. Held tokens are now worked out from what has actually been returned, so a tidied-up campaign leaves nothing behind.
- 🔒 Security A business that had only clicked its own confirmation email, or whose approval had since been withdrawn, could still turn up as a recommended supplier inside a wedding package. Packages now show only businesses our team has cleared for the directory, exactly like every other place couples meet a supplier.
- 🔒 Security Deleted chat messages were still being sent in full to everyone in the conversation, including ones removed by a moderator — the app simply hid them. A deleted message now keeps its place in the thread and nothing else.
- 🔒 Security A guest still waiting on the couple's approval could join vendor waitlists against that wedding's date, and any couple could join the waitlist of a business that is not publicly listed. Both are now refused.
- 🔒 Security The secret behind our private drafting endpoint travelled in the web address, which put it in server logs, browser history and error reports — and it is enough to publish or delete an article. It now travels as a request header, and any copy of it that reaches an error report is stripped out before the report leaves the site.
- 🔒 Security Setting a password from an invitation or welcome link — and registering — now issues a brand new session, closing a route by which someone who could plant a cookie on the site would have ended up sharing your signed-in session.
- 🐛 Fixed An admin signing in as someone to help them could be thrown straight out of their own account and back to the login page, or stranded on a page offering to restore an account that had asked to be deleted. Those accounts can no longer be opened this way, the button is only offered where it works, and an admin already looking around is never ejected mid-session.
- 🐛 Fixed The Blog Auctions settings tab saved nothing at all while reporting that it had. Bidding windows, reserves, increments and warning times now save.
- 🐛 Fixed Lifting a suspension, and marking a business trusted or untrusted, are now written down like the suspension itself: what was decided, by whom, and why. An account's history no longer disappears the moment the suspension ends.
- 🐛 Fixed Milestones on a booking, and tasks on the planning board, were badged "due soon" however far away they were — eight months out looked the same as tomorrow. Only the ones genuinely close now stand out.
- 🐛 Fixed A platform update whose delivery failed outright used to sit as "Sending" for ever with nothing saying why. It is now marked as failed with the reason, and can be resumed from where it stopped without emailing anyone twice.
- 🐛 Fixed An automated planning email whose targeting rule referred to something no longer on the list would quietly have gone to every couple. Such a rule now reaches nobody until it is fixed.
Sort and filter every list, vendors describe what they actually sell, and a better chat
- ✨ New Every list now filters as well as sorts. Vendors can pull up the enquiries waiting on a reply, the bookings with documents or unread messages outstanding, and their token history by kind and date — and receipts by UK tax year, 6 April to 5 April, for the accounts.
- ✨ New Couples can filter their bookings and enquiries too — who has replied, who they are still waiting to hear from, and which enquiries became bookings — with status tabs on My Bookings to match.
- ✨ New The budget's payment schedules filter to unpaid, overdue, or due in the next 30 days. The category totals and overdue counts keep counting everything, so narrowing a list never changes where the budget stands.
- ✨ New Planners can filter their client list by where each invite has got to and whether the wedding has happened yet.
- ✨ New Every list on the site now sorts by column — click a heading to order by it, click again to reverse. Bookings, enquiries, your token history, receipts, team members, clients, website templates and payment schedules all work this way, as does every admin listing.
- ✨ New Chat now shows when a message has been read — one tick when it sends, two once the other person has opened the conversation. In a group, the second tick waits until everyone has seen it.
- ✨ New Vendors now say what kind of supplier they are when they sign up, not just which broad category they sit in — a DJ, a ceilidh band and a magician are no longer all just "Entertainment". Your choices show on your directory card, so couples can see at a glance what you actually do.
- ✨ New Suppliers who never fitted the named categories — celebrants, mobile bars, marquee hire, crèches, toilet hire, lighting and more — can finally describe themselves properly instead of being listed only as "Other".
- ✨ New Agencies, venue groups and caterers can now list the things they actually book out — each act, site, menu or package gets its own page, and the portal calls them by the right name ("Add an act", not "Add a listing"). Couples can browse them on your profile and enquire about one specifically, so you know which act they mean before you reply.
- ✨ New An act or site can have its own enquiry address. Enquiries naming it reach that inbox as well as your team — never instead, so nothing can end up somewhere nobody is reading.
- ✨ New Tell us how your business is set up — just you, a team or studio, an agency or roster, multiple sites, or a range of packages. Couples see it on your profile, because booking one photographer is a different thing from booking an agency.
- ✨ New The Campaigns page now opens with your marketing at a glance — token balance, tokens spent, couples reached, and how many clicked through to your profile — with a short four-step guide to how campaigns and tokens work.
- ✨ New Every delivered campaign has a proper results panel: couples reached, opens, profile visits, and what the campaign cost in tokens — including roughly what each profile visit cost you.
- ✨ New In-app campaigns now count clicks too. When a couple taps your notification, that visit shows up in your campaign results, just like email clicks always have.
- ⚡ Improved The admin planning-email screens can now be read for one person: look an account up and the pipelines reorder into what that account actually receives next, with the date it goes and the reason anything is skipped — including the ones that match but would send an empty email.
- ⚡ Improved Filtering and sorting no longer undo each other. Applying a filter keeps the order you chose, changing a tab keeps both, and once anything is filtered there is a one-click way back to the full list.
- ⚡ Improved Rows with nothing in the column you sorted by now sit at the bottom either way round, so sorting by a date no longer opens on a screenful of blanks.
- ⚡ Improved Sorting keeps whatever you had filtered or searched for, and takes you back to the first page — where the row you were after now is.
- ⚡ Improved On the vendor dashboard, a recent enquiry is now a link — click it to go straight to that couple's chat.
- ⚡ Improved Messages now appear in the chat the instant you send them, greyed slightly until they reach us — no more waiting on a slow connection and wondering whether it went. If one fails to send, it comes straight back to the message box with a note, so nothing you wrote is lost.
- ⚡ Improved In wedding chat, Shift+Enter now starts a new line instead of sending, and the message box grows as you type — Enter still sends.
- ⚡ Improved Wedding chat now emails you at most once every six hours, and a single email covers every wedding you are part of, each listed separately with its own link. Everything you have missed since the last email is gathered into that one, so a busy chat can no longer fill your inbox — and nothing is skipped, it simply waits for the next one. Opening a chat from an email now takes you to the right wedding even if you were last looking at another one.
- ⚡ Improved The admin vendor list now says how far each business has actually got with verification — email verified, business verified, or ID verified — instead of one flat "Verified" badge, and keeps showing how many documents are still waiting for review. A business that has only confirmed its email no longer looks fully vetted.
- ⚡ Improved Each campaign page now shows exactly what happened to your tokens — held when you submitted, released if you withdrew or it was rejected, spent when it was approved — and your token history links each campaign entry straight to that campaign's results.
- 🐛 Fixed Pressing Enter quickly no longer posts the same chat message twice, in wedding chat and vendor enquiry/booking chat alike.
- 🐛 Fixed Line breaks in enquiry and booking chat messages now show in the sent message instead of collapsing onto one line.
- 🔒 Security New vendor businesses no longer appear in the public directory the moment they confirm their own email address. Every business now needs a sign-off from our team before couples can see it, enquire, or find it in search, blog placements included — confirming your email still unlocks the vendor portal while you wait.
Chat conversations start again, and a simpler RSVP panel
- ⚡ Improved The new-conversation list only offers people who can actually reply. Guests added by name only, with no account yet, are no longer listed.
- 🐛 Fixed Starting a new chat now works — the Create button was failing with an error every time. Adding someone to an existing group chat was failing the same way and is fixed too.
- 🗑️ Removed The dashboard's RSVP panel no longer repeats the per-part-of-the-day breakdown beside the replies chart. The same numbers live on the Invitations page and the caterer sheet, where you can act on them.
A header image for your business page, links and bold text in blog lists, and a free UK guest list template
- ✨ New Vendors can now choose which photograph represents them in the directory. Pick one in your gallery and it leads your card where couples browse, instead of whichever happened to be first. Only one photograph can hold it, so choosing a new one hands it over; clear it and we fall back to your header image, then your first photograph.
- ✨ New Vendors can now upload a wide header image that shows at the top of their business page — on the public directory listing and in the marketplace couples browse. It also leads your card in the directory, so a business with no gallery photographs yet shows its own picture rather than a blank placeholder, and it's the image used when your profile is shared to WhatsApp or Facebook. Upload, replace or remove it from My Business → Details.
- ✨ New A free UK wedding guest list template — a spreadsheet built for a British wedding, with day, evening and ceremony-only guests, plus-ones, dietary requirements and allergies, and a summary tab that counts your confirmed numbers, outstanding dietary requirements and remaining capacity for you. Works in Excel and Google Sheets, and its name, email and allergies columns are named to match the guest list import.
- 🐛 Fixed Bulleted and numbered lists in blog articles now show bold text and links properly. They were being printed exactly as typed, so a link in a list appeared as raw brackets and a bold heading as a pair of asterisks.
Vendor portal tidy-up, guest gallery photographs load again, and replies keep a guest's allergies
- ✨ New Vendors can now frame each gallery photograph — zoom in and move it around inside the frame, the same controls couples already have on their wedding website. Cards and profile galleries crop to a fixed shape, so a photo with the subject off to one side was being cut in half with no way to say otherwise. What you set is what couples see, everywhere your photos appear.
- ✨ New Wedding planners write their own service levels and their own list of what's included, instead of ticking boxes from a fixed list. No two planners package their work the same way, and the old tickboxes forced everyone into five options that fitted almost nobody. The common ones are still one click away as starting points, and anything already ticked has been carried across.
- ⚡ Improved When starting a new chat, anyone you already have a one-to-one conversation with is no longer offered in the list — picking them just reopened the chat you already had. Group chats are unaffected: the same people can be in as many groups as you like.
- ⚡ Improved Starting a direct message now offers one person to pick, rather than tick boxes that let you choose three and only then say a direct message takes one. Groups still let you tick as many as you like, and the Create button waits until you have picked enough people for the kind of chat you chose.
- 🐛 Fixed Buttons that are temporarily unavailable — send with nothing typed, upload with nothing chosen — now look unavailable rather than appearing ready and doing nothing when pressed.
- ⚡ Improved "Close this business" has moved off the main Details page into a Settings tab of its own, so it is not sitting under the form you edit every week.
- ⚡ Improved When a couple views a supplier's availability, the calendar now opens on the month of their wedding with their date ringed, rather than opening on this month and leaving them to page forward — which was odd when the notice above it had just told them their date was free.
- ⚡ Improved Floor Plans no longer appears in the sidebar for suppliers who have no rooms to lay out. It stays for venues, and for anyone who has already saved a layout.
- ⚡ Improved The "Most Popular" tier setting on a service is now a proper switch with a line explaining what it does, rather than an unlabelled tickbox.
- 🐛 Fixed When a guest replies to their invitation, any allergies or meal choice the couple had already recorded for them are kept rather than cleared. Weddings that had not set up their own allergy list were affected: the guest's form had nothing to show them, so it sent nothing back, and what the couple had typed in by hand was lost.
- 🐛 Fixed The photographs in a wedding gallery now load for guests who opened their invitation by link rather than signing in. Every picture was showing as a broken image for them, which is most guests.
- 🐛 Fixed Adding a service without a price failed with an error page. Prices have always been marked optional on that form, but the save was rejected unless both were filled in. They are now genuinely optional, and giving only an upper price ("up to £750") works too.
- 🐛 Fixed Vendor gallery photographs are no longer stretched or spilling out of their card when zoomed.
- 🐛 Fixed The tokens page now shows what a supplier has actually spent — it was reporting nothing spent on campaigns however many had run, and left messaging out altogether. Tokens from a campaign the supplier withdrew are no longer counted as still held.
- 🐛 Fixed Inviting a client whose email address already has an account now explains the problem on the form instead of showing an error page.
- ⚡ Improved Guests are now told what happened to a photograph they shared. When you approve or remove one, whoever uploaded it hears — the same as when our safeguarding team acts. They are told the decision, not a reason, so tidying up a blurry shot needs no explanation from you.
- 🐛 Fixed Stopping messages from a supplier now stops them everywhere on that enquiry. They could previously still reach you through the chat on the same enquiry, and on an enquiry you had started yourself the reply box let them through too. The button also says more plainly what it covers: that enquiry, by reply or chat — a supplier you go on to book can still contact you about your day.
- 🔒 Security A supplier whose verification has been withdrawn no longer appears anywhere in the directory. They could previously get their listing back simply by confirming their email address again.
A year of planning guides goes live, photographs on every article, and a site outage fixed
- ✨ New A year of planning guides is now live on the blog — 47 more articles covering costs, timelines, legal paperwork, seating, RSVPs, suppliers and the seasons, on top of the one that was already there.
- ✨ New Every article on the blog now has a photograph. The blog index and topic pages were a wall of text cards with a blank space where the picture should be, and a link shared to WhatsApp or Facebook had no preview image at all. All 51 articles — the one published guide and the fifty waiting to go live — now carry a picture chosen for what the article is actually about, each with a written description for anyone using a screen reader.
- ⚡ Improved On a phone, the bottom of the blog now shows the page numbers rather than just "Previous" and "Next", so you can see how many pages of advice there are and jump straight to one instead of stepping through them one at a time.
- 🐛 Fixed The home page was quoting vendor numbers we could not stand behind. It now states the terms instead — free to list, no commission on bookings, and the real price of a marketing token, read from the same setting vendors are charged by.
- 🐛 Fixed The site was briefly unreachable (server error) because of a naming clash between our servers and an unrelated project on the same host. Traffic is now routed reliably again.
Pages about the planning tools, two new guides, a faster home page, and a fix for pages that would not load
- ✨ New There are now proper pages explaining the guest list, the seating plan and RSVPs — what each one does, how it works and the questions couples actually ask about them. They're open to anyone, so you can send them to a partner or a parent who hasn't signed up yet, and couples searching for a guest list or seating plan tool can finally find us.
- 🐛 Fixed In dark mode, every page flashed white for a moment before going dark. The page now carries its own background from the very first frame, so a reload stays dark. The scrollbars and dropdowns your browser draws itself now follow the theme you chose, too, rather than whatever your computer is set to.
- ✨ New You can now invite a guest into your wedding. Anyone on your list with an email address has an "Invite to Wedding" button on their page — we'll ask them, and if they say yes the wedding appears in their account when they sign in. They can say no, which changes nothing else: they stay on your list and their invitation still works either way. You're told which they chose.
- ✨ New If you're a guest, a wedding you've been invited into is yours to leave. Every wedding you can open has a "Leave this wedding" option on the wedding picker, and leaving takes nothing with it — the couple keep your reply, your dietary answers and your seat, and your invitation still works, so you can still reply and share photos.
- 🐛 Fixed The wedding picker was listing weddings you're on the guest list for but can't actually open, so choosing one just bounced you back. It now shows only the ones you can open.
- ✨ New You can now take a guest's access back. Anyone whose account can open your wedding has a "Revoke Access" button on their guest page, and there's one beside anyone you've let in on the guest accounts page. It shuts the door and nothing else: they stay on your guest list with their reply, their dietary answers and their seat, their invitation still works, and any photos they've already shared stay in your album. Their account is untouched — it may be their own, with their own wedding in it. You can let them back in whenever you like.
- 🔒 Security Leaving your email address when you RSVP now asks the couple before it can open their wedding. It used to set up the account and let it straight in — and because an invitation link gets forwarded and its password is shared with a whole household, anyone holding one could have put their own address against a guest's name and seen the whole wedding, with nothing said to the couple. The address still sets up an account and the reply is still recorded; the wedding inside it now waits for a yes, and the couple are emailed to ask.
- ⚡ Improved The menu down the side of the app has been reorganised. Your guest list, tables, seating plan, invitations and chat now sit straight under the dashboard — the things you open every day, with nothing to expand first. Below them, three tidier sections: Plan for your planning list and budget, Suppliers for the marketplace, enquiries and bookings, and Celebrate for your website, registry, events, photos and thank yous. The whole menu is a little tighter too, so more of it fits without scrolling.
- 🐛 Fixed A stuck log file on our server was enough to make some pages fail outright — opening an invitation with a password, or adding photos to an album, could come back as an error even though nothing was actually wrong with what you were doing. Fixed at the source, and the site now carries on serving pages even if that log is unwritable.
- 🐛 Fixed Scrolling back through the history in a wedding chat brought up nothing, and jumping to a message you had found by searching landed you at the wrong place in the conversation. Both now go where you would expect.
- 🐛 Fixed Reporting a photo opened the report box tucked into the corner of the screen instead of in the middle of it. It now sits centred over the page, and scrolls within itself on a short screen.
- ⚡ Improved When a photo is reported, our safeguarding team can now act on it from the report itself — take the picture down, warn whoever uploaded it, or suspend their account — instead of only being able to leave a note.
- 🐛 Fixed A photo our safeguarding team took down still sat in the couple’s album with a "Rejected" label on it. A removal now takes the picture out of the album altogether and deletes the file behind it, for everyone. Photos a couple rejects themselves are unchanged — those stay in the album, greyed out, where they can change their mind.
- ⚡ Improved The welcome email now sounds like a person who is pleased for you, rather than a system asking you to complete a form.
- ⚡ Improved A guest’s data export is now a CSV or a PDF, whichever you need — a spreadsheet you can work with, or a page you can print and hand over. It used to come out as a JSON file that most people could not open.
- ⚡ Improved The blog, About, Privacy, Terms and the other reading pages no longer download the app's JavaScript they never used — around 92KB less on every one of them, and one less stylesheet holding up the page.
- 🐛 Fixed The numbers in the "How it works" steps on the home page were too pale against their circles to read comfortably. They are now dark where the circle is light.
- ⚡ Improved The home page is meaningfully faster on a phone. The photos are now sent in a modern format and at the size your screen actually needs rather than a desktop-sized crop, our two typefaces are served from our own site instead of Google's, and the page no longer downloads a pile of app code it never used.
- ⚡ Improved Our fonts are no longer fetched from Google on any public page, so nothing about your visit is shared with them before you have even chosen a cookie preference.
- 🐛 Fixed Our rose pink was a shade too light for white text to be comfortably readable on buttons — on the home page, the public pages, and the sign-in screens. It is now a slightly deeper pink that meets the accessibility contrast standard.
- 🐛 Fixed The vendor statistics on the home page were printed in a grey too dark to read against the dark background behind them.
- ✨ New Suppliers who open your enquiry and then go quiet now get a reminder from us after five days, so an enquiry that got lost on somebody's phone gets a second chance to be answered. They're reminded once — if they still don't reply, they were never the right supplier for you.
- ✨ New The blog has proper sections and topics now — eighteen categories from Venues and Budget to Legal and Admin, each with its own page, plus topic tags so an article about seating plans can point you at stationers rather than everything on the site.
- ⚡ Improved The admin user list now shows when somebody was last actually on the site, and sorts by it — sessions last a long time here, so the last sign-in was telling us very little.
- ✨ New We can now test two subject lines against each other on a planning email, so the version that actually gets opened is the one that ends up being sent. Same email either way — only the subject line differs.
- ✨ New Four more planning emails: setting a budget, giving notice at the register office, building your wedding website, and setting up a gift registry. Like the rest, they only arrive if the timing fits, and you can turn any of them off.
- ⚡ Improved Every planning email now carries a photograph chosen for what it says — a laid table on the seating one, a guest holding a phone above the crowd on the one asking for your pictures.
- 🐛 Fixed The email that arrives after your wedding now takes you to your photographs rather than the dashboard, and only goes out in the three weeks afterwards — not to a couple married two years ago.
- 🐛 Fixed The automated emails sent to guests said they were receiving it because they were planning a wedding. They are not; they were invited to one, and it now says so.
- ⚡ Improved The automated planning emails have been rewritten from scratch — warmer, funnier and about a British wedding rather than a task list. Countdowns, pull quotes and proper lists instead of a wall of text, a flourish under the heading the way a wedding invitation has, and suppliers rather than "vendors", because we are a British company and ought to sound like one.
- ✨ New "All day" is now one of the parts of the day every wedding starts with — most guests are coming to the whole thing, and now you can say so in one tick instead of three. It's been added to weddings already set up, and you can rename or remove it like any other.
- ⚡ Improved Parts of the day now open in a window on the invitations page, so adding "welcome drinks" while you're building an invitation no longer means leaving the page and finding your way back.
- ⚡ Improved We now keep a record of the emails we've sent you — the date, the address, and the subject line, never the message itself — so support can answer "did that ever reach me?" properly. It's kept for two years and explained in the privacy policy.
- ⚡ Improved We can now see whether our automated planning emails are actually helping — whether one was opened and which link inside it was followed. It measures our own emails only: vendors never see it, and it never feeds vendor targeting. Turning off automated planning emails in your notification preferences stops the measurement too, and the privacy policy explains exactly what is recorded.
- 🐛 Fixed The on/off switches on the notification preferences page had their handle sitting above the switch on a phone, so a setting that was on could read as broken. The handle now sits inside the switch on every screen size.
- 🐛 Fixed The caterer summary counted an evening-only guest as though they were sitting down to the wedding breakfast. Meal and allergy numbers are now given per part of the day, so the figure you hand your caterer is the number of people actually eating that meal.
- ⚡ Improved A "maybe" is never added into a confirmed number now. Each part of the day shows what's confirmed as the headline figure, with the maybes beside it as a chase list — that's the number you'll be invoiced against.
- ⚡ Improved Anyone who has replied but isn't on a part of the day gets a line of their own on the caterer summary and on your dashboard, rather than being silently counted everywhere or nowhere. A guest missing from a caterer number is somebody without a meal.
- ⚡ Improved The guest CSV and the guest list PDF now have a "coming to" column, so you can see at a glance who is there all day and who is joining in the evening.
- ⚡ Improved Your dashboard now breaks the replies down by part of the day as well as showing the overall total.
- ✨ New The invitations page now shows how many people are confirmed for each part of the day, on the page where you build the invitations that decide it — with a warning if anyone has replied but isn't on a part of the day yet.
- 🐛 Fixed Guests replying through your own wedding website were answering blind — the page never told them what they were invited to, unlike the emailed invitation link. It does now, and where two people on one invitation are coming to different parts of the day, it names them separately instead of guessing.
- ✨ New You can now say which parts of the day a guest is coming to on the guest themselves, not just through their invitation. It fixes two things that were genuinely stuck: a guest whose reply you typed in yourself, who could never be marked as coming to anything, and a household where one of them is there all day and the other is coming in the evening — that used to need two separate invitations.
- ✨ New The same thing in bulk from the guest list — tick the work friends, set them all to evening only.
- ⚡ Improved A guest's page now says where their parts of the day came from: their invitation, which they'll keep following if you change it, or something you set on them, which won't. There's a one-click way back to following the invitation.
- ✨ New Two new articles on the blog. **Wedding games that actually work** — reception and table games arranged around the three gaps every wedding day has, icebreakers for guests who've never met, and what to give the children. **Hen and stag do ideas that suit the whole group** — sorted by budget, group size and how far anyone will travel, with honest UK costs and a fair way to split the money.
- ✨ New Two new topics to go with them — **On the Day** and **Hen and Stag Dos** — each with its own page you can bookmark or send on.
- ⚡ Improved Alongside page views we now record a short, fixed list of milestones — an account created, setup finished, an enquiry sent, a supplier favourited, invitations sent, tokens bought — so we can see which steps people get stuck on and fix them. Each one carries only the bare fact and a category or a count, never a name, an address, or anything you or your guests typed, and none of it is used for advertising or vendor targeting.
- ⚡ Improved Because that changes what we measure, everyone will be asked about cookies once more, even if you've already answered. Nothing is recorded until you accept, and declining still stops it completely.
- ⚡ Improved The automated planning emails we send you can now carry proper images, side-by-side sections, pull-out quotes, checklists and a countdown to your day, instead of only headings, paragraphs and a button. They're built to survive old email apps, so they look the same in Outlook as they do on a phone.
- ⚡ Improved Those emails now use the same fonts, colours and panels as the rest of the email we send you, so a planning nudge no longer looks like it came from somewhere else.
- 🐛 Fixed A countdown or a mention of your venue only appears if we actually know your date or venue — nothing shows a blank where a real detail should be. Where a detail is missing the email reads around it ("your big day", "your venue") rather than leaving a gap.
Enquiry pricing, and photo reviews on the record
- ✨ New Every marketing email we send you now has a one-click unsubscribe built into your mail app itself, so you can stop supplier offers, product updates or automated planning emails straight from Gmail or your inbox's own unsubscribe button — no clicking through, no "are you sure?".
- 🐛 Fixed Offers from suppliers had no unsubscribe link of their own — only a link to your preferences page. They now carry a proper one-click opt-out, and using it removes you from every supplier's audience immediately.
- ⚡ Improved Each kind of email is opted out of separately, so turning off supplier offers leaves your planning reminders alone, and vice versa. Unsubscribe links in emails you've already been sent still work.
- ⚡ Improved Suppliers used to be charged for each reply they sent you, which quietly pushed them to move the conversation to email as fast as possible. Now they pay once to open your enquiry and every message after that is free, so there's no cost to them in staying and answering properly.
- ✨ New If nobody has replied to you yet, your enquiry costs a supplier nothing at all to open. The first message you send should always be worth answering.
- ⚡ Improved Suppliers now reach you through the planning articles differently. Instead of bidding once for a slot on one article, they run a campaign: the topics they want to appear against, the part of the country they cover, and a budget that lasts until they say otherwise. It means the suppliers beside an article are ones who actually work where you're getting married.
- ⚡ Improved Articles can now carry tags as well as a section, so a piece about seating plans can also be tagged "stationery". Suppliers bid on tags too, which means the ones beside an article are relevant to what it actually mentions rather than just the section it sits in.
- ✨ New Suppliers choose how they pay — per click, per day, or per thousand times they're shown — and set a daily cap so nothing runs away with them.
- 🐛 Fixed Suppliers bidding per thousand views were being charged a whole token for every single view — a 30-per-thousand bid cost 1,000 tokens per thousand views instead of 30. They now pay what they agreed to.
- ✨ New Suppliers can now set the hours their campaign runs, as many slots a day as they need — a florist can appear over morning coffee and again after work, and bid differently at each. It means the suppliers beside an article are ones with somebody around to answer you.
- ⚡ Improved Sponsored slots are still labelled as paid for, and still say plainly that where a supplier appears reflects what they paid, not our opinion of them.
- ✨ New You can send photos in chat — your venue shortlist, a dress you've spotted, a page torn out of a magazine. Pick them off your phone or camera roll, up to six at a time, and they're only visible to the people in that conversation.
- ✨ New Our team can now see every running campaign, every enquiry a supplier has paid to open, and every picture shared in chat — so a campaign appearing somewhere it shouldn't, or a supplier buying enquiries and never answering them, can be spotted and stopped.
- ⚡ Improved Suppliers still can't see who you are until they open your enquiry — they see when and roughly where you're getting married, and nothing that identifies you. That's unchanged, and a supplier who approaches you first still can't learn who you are unless you reply to them.
- ✨ New You can now report any photo in a wedding album. There's a report button on every photo, in the app and on the guest invitation link, and guests don't need an account to use it. Tell us what's wrong and our safeguarding team takes a look. We never tell the couple or the person who uploaded it who reported it.
- ⚡ Improved Our safeguarding team's access to your photos now runs out on its own. They only ever see a small thumbnail, never the full-size original, and only while a photo is waiting to be reviewed or somebody has reported it. Once a photo is approved and unreported, that access ends — there is no way for our staff to browse through a finished album.
- ⚡ Improved The privacy policy and terms now spell out exactly what our staff can and cannot see in your albums, how long the records are kept, and how to reach us if you appear in a photo you didn't agree to share.
- 🔒 Security Every time a member of our team views, approves, or removes a photo, we record who did it, when, and why. Those records can't be edited or deleted by anyone, including us, and are kept for three years.
- ✨ New You're told when a photo is reported. Both the couple and whoever shared the photo get an email saying it's been flagged and what it was flagged for — never who flagged it — and another when we've decided, saying plainly whether it came down or is staying up. If it came down, the email says why.
- ✨ New Our team can now issue a formal warning to an account, graded minor, serious, or severe. You are always emailed what the warning is for, what it is worth, and how close it puts you to losing the account — nobody is suspended by a rule they were never told about. Warnings stop counting after a year, and one issued in error can be withdrawn.
Wedding planning advice free to read, suppliers can bid for a place in it, and clearer cookie choices
- ✨ New Wedding List Manager now has a blog — practical, UK-focused planning advice, free to read and open to anyone, whether they have an account with us or not. It's under "Blog" in the menu at the top of every page, and in the footer.
- ✨ New The first article is "How to decide who to invite to your wedding" — the maths behind a guest list and what each extra name really costs, the A-list and B-list approach, plus-ones, children, handling family pressure, and how to cut a list down without falling out with anyone. It closes with the questions couples ask us most.
- ✨ New Articles are grouped by topic — guest lists, seating plans, RSVPs, budget, etiquette and planning timeline — so you can go straight to whatever you're wrestling with this week. Each topic has its own page you can bookmark or send to your partner.
- ✨ New Longer pieces open with a list of what's in them, so you can jump to the part you need instead of scrolling for it.
- ✨ New You can follow the blog in a news reader, alongside the feed we already publish for these updates, so new articles come to you rather than you having to check back.
- ✨ New Suppliers can sponsor an article. Anything paid for is labelled "Sponsored" in plain sight, and it never changes what an article says or which suppliers it recommends — that stays ours to write.
- ✨ New Suppliers can now bid for one of the recommended-supplier places inside a blog article — so a florist can be there on the article couples read while they're choosing their flowers. Bids are made in tokens, on articles relevant to what you do, and every paid place is labelled "Sponsored" in plain sight, exactly as a sponsored article is. There's a new bidding page in your supplier account listing every article currently open for bids, with its starting price, how many places are on offer and how long is left.
- ✨ New You never pay your full bid. Whoever wins a place pays one step above the next bid below them, and if nobody is bidding below you, you pay the starting price and no more. So bidding what a place is honestly worth to you is the sensible thing to do, not something you get punished for. The page shows every bid amount and where yours ranks; the other suppliers bidding are not named, and you are not named to them.
- ✨ New While an auction is running your bid is held rather than spent. It is released in full if you don't win a place, and in full if you withdraw before bidding closes. Only the winners' tokens are taken, at the price that settled — never more than you bid.
- ✨ New We'll email you if your bid slips out of the winning places, telling you where you now stand, what the leading bid is, what it would cost to get back in front, when bidding closes, and giving you a link straight there.
- ✨ New A place you win is yours until you give it up — nobody can outbid you out of it later, and there is nothing to renew. The other side of that, plainly: if you give a place up, or your listing stops being publicly visible, the tokens you spent are not returned. They paid for the place while you held it, and it goes back to auction for another supplier.
- ✨ New A standing bid lets you set your maximum on a whole topic — seating plans, wedding cars — and you're entered automatically whenever a new article on it opens for bids, so you don't have to watch for them. If your balance won't cover it when one opens, we skip that auction and tell you, rather than putting in a smaller bid you never asked for.
- ✨ New You can buy more tokens without leaving the bidding page, and you're brought straight back to it afterwards.
- ✨ New A "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page reopens your cookie choice, so turning analytics off again is exactly as easy as turning it on. Declining now also deletes the analytics cookies already on your device.
- ✨ New If you're signed in and have accepted analytics, we now send Google a code that stands for your account, so planning started on your phone and finished on your laptop counts as one person rather than two. It's a one-way code — never your name, your email address, or the ID we hold for you — and Google can't work backwards from it to you. It's dropped the moment you decline or withdraw, and signed-out visitors and guests using an invitation link never get one. The cookie policy explains it in full.
- ⚡ Improved The tokens page no longer describes every held token as "held for campaigns". Held tokens are now labelled simply "Held", with a line underneath saying how much is behind a campaign waiting for approval and how much is behind a blog placement bid still running.
- ⚡ Improved Because that changes what we measure, everyone will be asked about cookies once more, even if you've already answered.
- ⚡ Improved Google's analytics tag is no longer loaded at all until you accept. Previously it loaded on every page and was told not to store anything; now nothing is downloaded and nothing is set unless you say yes.
- ⚡ Improved The cookie policy now names each analytics cookie and how long it lasts, and explains plainly what we measure — which pages you use and how you move through the site, including inside your account — and what we never send to Google: your name, email address, account ID, or any wedding, guest or vendor detail.
- ⚡ Improved We'll ask about cookies again once a year, and whenever we materially change what we measure, so an old answer is never treated as permission for something new.
- 🐛 Fixed The privacy policy said in one paragraph that we use optional analytics cookies and in the next that we use none. It now describes analytics accurately, including how to withdraw consent.
- 🗑️ Removed The no-JavaScript Tag Manager frame, which loaded before anyone had a chance to accept or decline.
Planning from your phone, and waiting to be let in to a wedding
- ✨ New If you've signed up from an invitation and the couple hasn't let you in yet, you'll now see a card telling you which wedding you're waiting on and that your invitation still works in the meantime — instead of a blank page with nothing to explain it.
- ✨ New A "Remind them" button on that card sends the couple a fresh nudge, available once every three days so nobody gets chased.
- ✨ New Every error screen now looks like the rest of the site. Expired forms, "too many attempts", bad links and the rare "something went wrong at our end" used to drop you onto a bare, unbranded page; each now explains what happened in plain English and gives you a clear way back.
- ✨ New The seating plan works on a phone. It used to say "please use a tablet or desktop" and leave you stuck — now you get a list of everyone still to seat, a table picker for each of them, and who's on each table, so you can seat your guests from the sofa or on the train. Arranging the room itself — table shapes, sizes and who sits in which chair — still needs a bigger screen, and everything you set on your phone is there waiting when you open it.
- ⚡ Improved The guest accounts page now shows when someone has reminded you they're waiting, and how many times.
- ⚡ Improved Landing on a page you don't have permission to see now offers a "Log out" button alongside the other options, so you can sign back in as the right account without hunting for the way out.
- ⚡ Improved The row of buttons at the top of each page no longer swallows the screen. On the guest list those seven buttons filled most of a phone screen before a single guest appeared; now the main action stays put and the rest tuck behind a "more" button, so your guests are the first thing you see.
- ⚡ Improved Buttons, menus and checkboxes are now big enough to hit properly on a touchscreen — the menu button, the notification bell, your account menu and the sidebar's section headings were all smaller than a fingertip.
- ⚡ Improved The app now keeps clear of the rounded corners and camera notch on newer phones, in both portrait and landscape.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest you'd already let in was still being offered "Set up an account" on their invitation, as though you'd never decided. Their row now reads "Has an account".
- 🐛 Fixed If that guest took the offer, it withdrew the access you'd granted them and put them back in your waiting list. Signing up again when you already have an account now simply tells you to sign in, and leaves your access alone.
- 🐛 Fixed Tidied up the last few American spellings in what you see on screen — "unauthorised", "organiser", "instalment" and "licence" now read the British way everywhere.
- 🐛 Fixed The "Unauthorised" and "Page not found" screens were drawing their buttons wrongly — the main button's label came out dark instead of white, and "Log out" rendered oversized and spilled past the edge of the card. The buttons now sit neatly in a row, with "Log out" as a quieter link underneath.
- 🐛 Fixed The cookie banner's "Accept" and "Decline" buttons rendered as plain, oversized text on the sign-in, registration and onboarding screens instead of proper buttons.
- 🐛 Fixed Typing anywhere in the app no longer zooms the page in on an iPhone. Every box you type into was slightly too small for iOS, so tapping one zoomed the page and shifted it sideways under your thumb, on every form — adding a guest, replying to an invitation, signing in.
Messages pasted from Word no longer fail to send
- 🐛 Fixed Writing to us — or to anyone through the site — after pasting text from Word, Outlook or Notes could fail with an error page, and the message was lost rather than delivered. Those apps use curly quotes and dashes the site was reading as gibberish. It now understands them, so your words arrive as you wrote them, punctuation and all.
Nightly backups of your wedding data are running again
- 🐛 Fixed The nightly backup of the database — your guest lists, replies and seating — had been failing to run. The backup tool could not agree with the database over a security certificate and gave up each night rather than saving anything. It now completes, and our automated checks run the backup against the same setup the live site uses, so a repeat can't slip through unnoticed. No wedding data was lost or exposed at any point; the copies simply weren't being taken.
One front door, and it stops password guessing
- ✨ New Guests can now set up an account from your wedding website's RSVP, not just from the invitation we emailed them. On your own domain the website is the address guests actually have, so anyone arriving that way previously had no way to ask.
- ⚡ Improved The offer sits with each guest by name, right under their Yes / No / Maybe buttons, rather than as one form further down asking them to pick themselves out of a dropdown — they're already looking at their own name. Anyone who already has an account is shown as having one, and anyone waiting on your decision is told they're waiting, so nobody asks twice. Someone holding the invitation who isn't named on it can still ask, from a note below the reply.
- ✨ New A new setting under Settings → Features decides whether guests can ask for an account at all. It's on to begin with and works as it always has — you still say yes to each person, and signing up grants nothing on its own. Turning it off simply stops you being asked: anyone you've already let in keeps their access, and anyone still waiting stays on your list to answer.
- ⚡ Improved Pages load faster, and the bigger the page the more you'll notice. The sidebar's counts — your weddings, unread chat, vendor replies — were being worked out again for every single piece of a page, so an invitation with a dozen guests on it was asking the same questions of the database dozens of times over. They're now worked out once and reused.
- 🔒 Security Someone guessing at your password used to be stopped for a few minutes and then allowed to carry on, so anyone patient enough could keep working through guesses indefinitely. After five wrong tries they're now stopped properly and can't try again until you let them. This counts across both your website and your invitations together — they're the same front door to a guest, so being turned away at one no longer leaves the other open.
- ✨ New A "Someone couldn't get in" panel appears on your website page, your invitations page and each invitation's own page, so you can let them try again wherever you happen to be looking — one click, and they get a fresh five tries. It only appears when there's actually someone locked out.
- ⚡ Improved Someone running out of tries now shows in your notifications rather than emailing you. If it's a stranger trying passwords that isn't worth interrupting your evening for, and if it's a real guest they'll use the link below to ask you — which does email you, with their name and address, and tells you they need letting back in. One guest with one problem was sending two emails to each of you.
- 🐛 Fixed Being asked to "try again in 883 seconds" now reads as "try again in 15 minutes", on both the website and the invitation.
- ⚡ Improved Guests get fair warning before that happens. From their second wrong try, the page tells them exactly how many attempts they have left, so anyone who's misread the password off their card can ask you for it rather than being shut out without notice.
- ⚡ Improved Only the person guessing is stopped — every other guest carries on getting in as normal, so your website can't be taken down for everybody by one person at the keyboard.
- ✨ New There's now an "I've forgotten my password" link on your website's front door and on your invitations. A guest leaves their name and email, and you're emailed and notified that they're trying to get in — so nobody has to ring you on the day. We never reply on your behalf: you send them the password yourself, once you recognise the name.
- ⚡ Improved When something behind the scenes stops an email or notification going out — a mail provider having a wobble, say — our team can now send it again with one click instead of waiting for the next scheduled run. Campaign emails and other queued messages that failed are less likely to be quietly lost.
- ✨ New The QR code on printed invitations now lets guests straight in — scanning the card opens their invitation with no password to type. Prefer the typed gate? There's a second QR download that keeps it. And if a card ever goes astray, one click retires every printed code without changing the password you've told your guests.
- ⚡ Improved Your invitation link and your wedding website are now truly one front door. Unlocking at either signs a guest into both, and the emailed invite link now takes guests to your published website itself — RSVP, seating and details in one place. Weddings without a website keep the standalone invitation page, exactly as before.
- 🔒 Security The invitation link's password door now carries the same protections as the website's, including session hardening and failure logging — so every future protection lands on both doors at once, because they are now the same door.
Your guest list says what people are coming to, and dietary answers reach the caterer
- ✨ New Your guest list now shows what each guest is actually invited to — ceremony, wedding breakfast, evening reception — under their name, and there's a new "Attending" filter for pulling up just one part of the day. "Not set" gathers everyone you haven't said it about yet, so the gaps are easy to work through. Their own page shows it next to their reply too.
- ⚡ Improved The invitations list reads more cleanly — the faces on each invitation are now a neat overlapping group at the end of the line rather than a run of tiles jammed in among the guest and view counts, and a large invitation shows the first five with a "+4" for the rest instead of crowding the row.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest who had already replied — including one whose reply you'd typed in yourself — was still offered when you created a new invitation, so they could end up on a card nobody was waiting for. Only guests still waiting to be asked are offered now. If someone who has replied does need an invitation after all, clear their reply on their guest page first.
- 🐛 Fixed Allergies and meal choices set from a guest's own page were only ever saved against that guest's account, not against your wedding — so the RSVP panel on the same screen showed "not chosen", and your caterer summary and exports never heard about them at all. They're now saved where everything reads them, and anything set that way in the past has been brought across.
- 🐛 Fixed Allergies ticked while adding a guest — from the add-guest box or the seating plan — went the same way, and an allergies column in a spreadsheet import did too. Worse, if the guest already had an account of their own, what you'd entered was dropped entirely. Both now save against your wedding, and a guest's own account keeps whatever they set for themselves.
- 🐛 Fixed The seating plan showed no allergy warning or meal beside a guest's name unless that guest happened to have the same details saved on their own account — so the answers you'd recorded for your wedding were missing from the one screen you lay the tables out on. It now reads your wedding's answers.
- 🐛 Fixed The Notes column of the guest-list PDF printed a dash for every guest, however much they'd written, and the per-table sections at the end of it showed no allergies or meals at all. Both print properly now.
- 🐛 Fixed If you hadn't set up meal choices (or allergy options) for your wedding, recording a guest's reply quietly wiped any meal or allergy already stored for them. A field your form never showed you is now left exactly as it was.
- 🐛 Fixed Opening your partner's page and saving anything at all — their name, email, dietary notes, their table — failed with "That role does not belong to this wedding." Anyone who co-owns the wedding was affected, and nothing on their page could be changed. Their page saves properly now, and saving it leaves their ownership of the wedding exactly where it was.
Your own reply, and guests who sign themselves up
- ✨ New You can now record a reply for anyone on your guest list — including yourselves. Replies used to belong to an invitation, so nobody without one could have a status, and since you don't post yourselves a card the two of you were quietly missing from every headcount and the caterer's number was two short. You now both start out attending your own wedding, and Edit RSVP is on every guest's page whether or not they're on an invitation yet.
- ⚡ Improved A guest's reply, meal choice, allergies and notes now belong to them at your wedding rather than to the card they were sent. Move somebody from one invitation to another and everything they told you comes with them, instead of vanishing.
- ✨ New Guests can now set up an account from their invitation — they pop in their email address and we send them a link to choose a password. Someone holding the invitation who isn't written on it (an aunt a guest is bringing) can ask too.
- ✨ New You decide who gets in. When someone signs up you get an email and they appear under Guests → Accounts, with a count on the button so you can't miss it. Letting them in is what makes the wedding appear in their account — their reply, their table, and whatever else you've shared with guests. Turning them down costs them nothing: they keep their account and can still reply to their invitation.
- 🔒 Security Signing up never grants access on its own. An invitation password is shared with a whole household, so anyone holding the card could otherwise have walked into your wedding — now they can only ask.
Say what people are invited to
- ✨ New An invitation now says which parts of the day its guests are coming to — the ceremony, the wedding breakfast, the evening reception, or any combination. Tick them when you create the invitation or from its own page, and your guests see "You're invited to" at the top of theirs, so nobody has to guess whether they're there for the whole day.
- ✨ New The parts of the day are yours to shape. Every wedding starts with the usual three, and you can rename them, or add your own — welcome drinks the night before, brunch the morning after — under Invitations → Parts of the Day. Deleting one tells you how many invitations it's on first, and those invitations stay exactly as they are.
You can't be removed from your own wedding
- ✨ New The home page now has a supplier section — browse wedding photographers, venues, florists and the rest straight from the front page, instead of hunting for the directory in the menu. Only the categories with suppliers in them are shown, so you never land on an empty list.
- 🔒 Security Two things inside a wedding took only being on the guest list, and no permission at all: booking or enquiring with a vendor in the couple's name, and the shortlist of vendors they're considering with the prices they've noted against each. Both now follow the permissions you've set — booking needs "manage bookings", the shortlist needs "see vendors" — so a guest can't spend in your name or read what you're weighing up.
- ⚡ Improved Links tucked inside a sentence on a guest's page — "set some up", "add them to one", "manage roles" — were a soft grey that all but vanished into the text. They're now lavender and underline as you point at them, so you can see what you can click.
- ⚡ Improved Removing a whole ticked selection of guests now asks first, in the same window as removing one — and it tells you exactly how many are about to come off, counting only the guests who actually can. If everyone you've ticked has to stay, the Remove button isn't offered at all.
- 🐛 Fixed Removing guests — one at a time, or a whole ticked selection — could take you off your own wedding, leaving you owning a wedding you could no longer plan: the guest list, seating and settings all disappeared from your menu. You and your wedding's owner can no longer be removed from its guest list, and if a selection includes either of you, everybody else still comes off and we tell you who stayed. To step away from a wedding, hand it to somebody else in its settings.
- 🔒 Security Taking a guest off your list now takes away every role they held on that wedding, not just their place on the list — so a removed guest can't keep any access they'd been given.
Guest roles where you need them, and tighter checks on dispute evidence
- ✨ New Your guest list now works in handfuls. Tick as many guests as you like — or select the whole page — and tag them, seat them all at one table, take them off their tables, or remove them, all in one go. Each batch action needs exactly the same permission as doing it to one guest at a time.
- ✨ New "Seat together" asks which table properly, in its own window — and if the table doesn't exist yet, name it there and we'll create it and sit everyone at it. "Unseat" only appears when someone you've chosen actually has a table.
- 🐛 Fixed Guests imported from a CSV were never emailed a link to set their account up, unlike guests added one at a time. Anyone with an email address in your file is now written to as they're imported.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest who already had an account with us heard nothing when you added them — the wedding just appeared the next time they signed in. They now get an email telling them you've added them to your guest list, whether you added them one at a time or imported a whole sheet. It's a friendly heads-up, not the formal invitation, which you still send when you're ready for people to reply.
- ✨ New A guest's page can send their set-up link again, for when the first one lands in spam or gets deleted. It only appears while they still haven't set their account up.
- 🐛 Fixed Removing a guest left their chair claimed on the seating plan, so a name you'd taken off the list could still turn up on the plan. Their seat is now freed with them.
- 🐛 Fixed An album's photos were being shown one per full page width, each one blown up far past its size. They now sit in tidy columns again, and wider screens simply fit more photos per row.
- ✨ New Your guest list now switches between rows and cards — rows for scanning a long list, cards for one you're still putting names to. Whichever you pick is remembered.
- ⚡ Improved Guest rows no longer run empty across the middle of the page. Each one now shows where that guest stands on their RSVP, and a pill with their table once they have a seat — on cards too.
- ⚡ Improved The guest list you build during setup now pages once it passes ten names, so adding a big list no longer pushes the rest of the step off the screen. Every name still goes through when you finish.
- ⚡ Improved The location field in setup now reads "Wedding location", so it's clear it's asking where the day is happening.
- ✨ New Your website's photo gallery can now reuse pictures you've already uploaded — pick any of them and a copy is added to that gallery, leaving the original where it is.
- ✨ New Each gallery photo now has the same framing controls as your header image. Gallery pictures are cropped to a square, and "Adjust" lets you zoom in and choose which part of the picture the square keeps, so nobody loses their head to the crop.
- ⚡ Improved Ordinary buttons — "Settings", "View public page", "Add item" and the like — no longer turn pink-red when you hover them. Red now means what it should: delete, remove, cancel. Everything else picks up a soft lavender instead.
- ✨ New Someone can now hold more than one role in your wedding — a bridesmaid is a guest too, and what they can see and do is everything their roles allow between them. A guest's page shows their roles as pills you tick, and "New role" opens a tidier builder: name it, tick what it's allowed to do, and it's added to that guest straight away.
- ✨ New A wedding can be handed over to somebody else, in Settings → Details. Whoever owns it can give it to any member with an account of their own — useful if a planner sets everything up and passes it to the couple, and there's a "leave the wedding once it's theirs" option for exactly that. Ownership can only be given, never taken, and everyone who owns the wedding is emailed about the change.
- ✨ New A partner can be removed from a wedding, from the same panel — behind a confirmation, since it takes their access away. Added them on the wrong email address? Remove them and add them again on the right one: their unaccepted invitation is cancelled, so the old address can't be used to get in. Any owner can remove another, we email the person removed, and the wedding's other owners are told too. Whoever set the wedding up can't be removed, and you can't remove yourself.
- ✨ New You can add your partner from Settings → Details, long after setting up. They join as a co-owner — the guest list, seating, budget and website are theirs to plan as much as yours. Give an email and we'll invite them to set up their own sign-in; leave it out and they're simply on the wedding until you have it. If they already have an account, they join with it rather than a second one being made.
- 🐛 Fixed Removing a partner who hadn't yet set up their own sign-in sent no email at all — not to them, and not to the wedding's other owners. Everyone is told again, so nobody finds out by discovering the wedding missing.
- 🐛 Fixed A partner you invited by email showed as "No email" on your guest list until they set up their account, which also meant their invitation couldn't be sent. Their address now shows from the moment you add them.
- 🐛 Fixed Your wedding and both of your names are now saved together during setup. If anything went wrong part-way through, you could end up with a wedding named after your partner but without them on the guest list, and nothing to say the second half hadn't saved.
- 🐛 Fixed You can now add someone to your guest list who already has an account of their own — a friend planning their own wedding, or a partner who signed up themselves. Their address was being turned away as "already in use", which left you no way to put them on your list at all. Importing a CSV does the same rather than skipping those rows.
- 🐛 Fixed Setting up a second wedding left you looking at your old one until you finished every step, so a partner you had just added seemed to have vanished. You now switch to the new wedding the moment you describe it.
- 🐛 Fixed Re-opening a setup step you'd already finished quietly threw away whatever you typed. It now says so, and points you at "Add a wedding" or your guest list instead.
- ⚡ Improved The admin user list can now find people who are on a guest list by name only, with no email yet — a partner or guest added during setup. They stay out of the default view, and an "Accounts / Names only / Both" filter brings them up, marked "Name only".
- 🐛 Fixed The admin user list showed guests as having no role at all. Wedding roles now appear alongside platform ones, on the user list, each user's page (including which role they hold in each wedding), and the user export — and you can filter the list down to wedding guests.
- 🔒 Security Files attached as evidence to a booking dispute are now limited to documents and images, and are virus-scanned like every other upload. Any file type was previously accepted without a scan, which meant someone in a dispute could leave unwanted content on our servers for our team to open while reviewing the case.
Smoother scrolling, and a better-looking invitation page on your phone
- ⚡ Improved Pages now scroll smoothly, especially on laptops. Screens with a lot of panels — your bookings, dashboard and budget — were asking your computer to redraw a frosted-glass effect behind every card on the page, for every pixel you scrolled. The panels look the same; they just no longer cost anything to move past.
- ✨ New The caterer summary now lists every attending guest by name with their table, meal choice, dietary requirements and notes — the totals tell your caterer how much to cook, this tells them which plate goes where. Anyone with an allergy, requirement or note is in bold.
- ✨ New The seating plan PDF now shows each guest's meal choice alongside their dietary requirements, seated or not, so the room can be laid out from one sheet.
- ⚡ Improved Dietary answers now read the same way across every export — what a guest submitted with their RSVP comes first, falling back to anything you recorded for them yourself.
- ✨ New Both guest exports now carry a Tags column, so the list you hand to a caterer or venue shows who's evening-only, who's family, and whatever else you group by.
- ⚡ Improved The guest list's filter bar and tag row now line up with the rest of the page instead of sitting tight against the edge.
- ✨ New Your guest list now has one-tap tag filters across the top — "Everyone", each of your tags with a count, and "Not tagged" — and they keep whatever else you were already filtering by.
- ✨ New You can tag a guest straight from the list. "Tag" on any row opens their tags, tick what fits, save, and you stay exactly where you were.
- 🐛 Fixed Saving tags on a guest now tells you what it saved — "1 tag saved for Alex" — and says so plainly if a tag has gone missing, instead of returning you to the page with no word either way.
- 🐛 Fixed The guest count beside each tag now matches what you get when you filter the list by it. A tag still sitting on someone you've since removed from the wedding was being counted, promising guests the filtered list couldn't show.
- ⚡ Improved The Tags page is tidier — each tag now sits on one line with its colour, name and guest count, and "View guests" and "Delete" grouped together on the right instead of scattered across two rows.
- ⚡ Improved Tagging a guest on their page is now a row of tappable buttons — the tag's colour stays as a dot, and a tag you've applied fills in so you can see at a glance which ones are on.
- ⚡ Improved Replying on a guest's behalf is now a row of tappable buttons rather than a drop-down, and their dietary requirements tick on and off as buttons too — the one you've chosen fills in, so it's obvious at a glance what's been recorded.
- 🐛 Fixed The invitation page guests open from their link had lost its styling — the wording, the password box and the reply buttons all but disappeared into the background, worst of all on a phone. It now looks the way it should, and the whole page has been rebuilt for small screens: bigger tap targets, RSVP buttons that sit in a neat row under each guest's name, and a password box that no longer makes iPhones zoom in when you tap it.
Buttons that quietly did nothing now work
- ✨ New Click an empty chair on your seating plan and pick who sits there. The list is split into guests who aren't seated yet and guests who already have a seat — choosing someone who's already seated moves them across, freeing their old chair. You can also drop a guest straight onto a particular chair, and everyone now stays in the chair you chose rather than shuffling round as the table fills.
- ⚡ Improved A guest who's on your list but hasn't had their invitation yet now sees "Awaiting your RSVP" rather than "Not yet invited", which read as though they'd been left off.
- 🐛 Fixed Clicking "View full registry" on a wedding website sent you straight back to the front page if you were signed in — as the couple looking at your own site, or as a guest. The registry now recognises everyone the website itself lets in.
- 🔒 Security We audited every way into a wedding website and tightened them. Guessing at a guest's invitation password is now held to five tries, is capped across a whole wedding so a bank of computers buys no extra goes, and no longer gets a free reset from the website password everybody shares. A password is now checked against one household rather than quietly tried against every family on your list. Invitation passwords must be eight characters, and two households in the same wedding can no longer be given the same one. None of this changes any invitation you have already sent.
- 🔒 Security Signing in with an invitation password now starts a fresh session and lasts twelve hours rather than indefinitely, so a guest who replies on a borrowed or family computer doesn't leave their RSVP, meal choices and seating open to the next person who opens the browser.
- 🔒 Security A couple's own web address now serves their wedding website and nothing else. The rest of the app, including the sign-in page, is only reachable at our own address.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest who unlocked their RSVP with their invitation password could fill the form in and be refused when they pressed the button. Their reply now saves properly.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest signed in to their account was turned away from the photo gallery unless they dug out their invitation link. Being signed in is now enough, as it already was for replying.
- ✨ New You can now reply on a guest's behalf. Press Edit RSVP beside their name — on the invitation or on the guest's own page — and record whether they're coming along with their meal choice, dietary needs and any notes, for the guests who phone, write back, or simply tell you in person. It's saved exactly as their own reply would be, and the activity log shows who entered it. Each guest's page now also shows their reply at a glance.
- ✨ New Guests can now reach their RSVP from your website alone. Print your web address on your invitations, give each guest their invitation password, and typing it on your site brings up their own RSVP — no invite link needed. Your website password still works as before and shows the day's details without opening anyone's RSVP, and guests with an account can simply sign in from the same page.
- ⚡ Improved Claiming a gift while signed in no longer asks you to type your name and email — the couple gets your real details, and the gift is tied to your account so their thank-you can find you. Giving anonymously still keeps your name from them.
- ⚡ Improved The password and coming-soon pages guests see now wear the couple's own colours and fonts, with proper inputs and buttons rather than the browser's plain ones.
- ⚡ Improved The registry on your wedding website now shows the registry you already built, rather than asking you to type it out a second time. It appears only while "Show registry on wedding website" is switched on in Registry → Settings — with it off, the section disappears from your site entirely.
- ⚡ Improved Your dashboard reads better. The RSVP doughnut grows to fill its card instead of sitting in the corner, Recent Activity shows five entries at a time, and your budget, gifts and chat panels share one row that's named after whatever you actually have on show.
- ⚡ Improved Recent Activity no longer drowns in repeats. Nudging a table around the floor plan nine times now reads as one line with a ×9 beside it, everyone keeps the same avatar colour wherever they appear, and the dashboard panel pages through your history instead of running off the card.
- ✨ New Your wedding cover photo now has the same framing controls as your website images — zoom in and slide the picture around until the two of you are sitting nicely in the frame, with a live preview as you go. You can also pick a photo you've already uploaded to an album or your website gallery instead of uploading again.
- ⚡ Improved Registry and website settings now live where you use them. Both pages have a Settings button that opens everything in a panel — registry title, payment link and whether it shows on your website; website address, custom domain, password and search — instead of sending you off to a separate settings tab.
- ⚡ Improved Wedding settings pages have tidier web addresses — /wedding/settings rather than /wedding/wedding/settings. Any bookmarks you had will need updating.
- 🔒 Security Your wedding website now stays out of Google unless you ask for it. Search listing is off for every website, new and existing, and Settings → Website has a switch to turn it on when you're ready — until then your site is only found by people you send the link to.
- ✨ New Quick links across the top of the app. Guests, Seating Plan, Planning and Photos are pinned to start with, and in Settings → Details you can swap them for any five of your planning pages. Everyone helping with your wedding sees them, and anyone whose role can't open a page simply won't see that link.
- ⚡ Improved The What's New button now opens in a new tab, so you don't lose your place while reading it.
- 🐛 Fixed The pin marking your venue on wedding website and vendor directory maps showed as a broken image instead of a map pin.
- 🐛 Fixed Saving an RSVP from your wedding website dropped guests onto an invitation password screen, which looked like the site had broken. Their reply was saved, but nothing said so. Guests now land back on your website with a confirmation, and a signed-in guest is never asked for an invitation password.
- ✨ New Your wedding website now has a design panel. Pick a heading and body font from twenty options, set how large the type runs, and choose a second colour for your page background — the surface templates like Rustic are built around. Anything you leave alone keeps your template's own look, so you can change one thing without redesigning everything.
- ✨ New Booked your venue? If they've published a floor plan, you can import it into your seating plan instead of redrawing the room — their tables, capacities and shapes, ready to seat. You're told exactly what it replaces before it runs, and no guest leaves your guest list.
- ✨ New Venues can now publish their room layouts under Floor Plans, and the couples who book them can pull one straight into their seating plan. Editing or deleting a layout never disturbs a wedding that already imported it.
- ✨ New Eleven more help guides — Getting Started, Budget, Website, Registry, Photo Albums, Planning, Events, Thank-Yous, Chat, Notifications, Account & Wedding Settings, and Vendors & Bookings. Every topic in the help hub now has a full guide behind it.
- ⚡ Improved Guests signed in to their account can now RSVP straight from your wedding website, without hunting down their invitation email. They're also not asked for your website password — being signed in already says who they are. Anyone not signed in still needs their invite link, and a guest only ever sees their own invitation.
- ⚡ Improved Your seating plan page now tells you whether guests can see it, and lets you share it right there. Seating is private until you say otherwise, but the only switch used to be buried in Wedding Settings — so you could seat every guest and never find out they were still being told the plan hadn't been shared. Sharing shows each guest their own table and who they're with, never the whole plan.
- 🐛 Fixed A typo in a guest's email address used to be permanent. The wrong address still created an account, the welcome email went to a stranger, and the field locked because the guest "had an account" — even though they'd never seen it. You can now correct the address right up until the guest sets their account up themselves, and saving it sends their welcome email again to the new one. Once they've signed in or verified it, it's their sign-in and stays theirs alone.
- ✨ New You can now tag your guests. Create your own labels — "Bride's side", "Evening only", "Needs a lift" — give each one a colour, and apply them from a guest's page. Tags show on your guest list and you can filter by any of them, or by everyone you haven't tagged yet. Find them under Tags on the guest list, with a few common ones ready to add in one click.
- ✨ New Booked a vendor? Their price and payment schedule can now go straight into your budget. Your budget page lists any bookings that aren't in it yet — add one and, if you'd already jotted that supplier down as an estimate, you can have the booking take that line over instead of ending up with them listed twice. From then on the two stay in step: when your vendor records a payment it ticks off in your budget, and when you tick one off in your budget your vendor sees it confirmed.
- 🐛 Fixed The colour you pick for your website was only showing in the editor's preview — the published page kept a fixed banner behind your names regardless. Your colour now carries through to the real page on every template, and looks the same there as it does in the preview.
- 🐛 Fixed Some venue maps were pointing at completely the wrong place, occasionally the wrong country, because of coordinates saved by the old address lookup. Existing addresses have been re-resolved, and editing an address no longer shows the previous location's map while you type.
- 🐛 Fixed The Export button on your budget did nothing when clicked — the menu was closing itself the instant it opened. Downloading your budget as a CSV or PDF works again.
- ⚡ Improved A new wedding website now starts with your names, your date and your venue already in place, whether you set it up during onboarding or from the Website page. Before, creating one from the Website page gave you a blank page with nothing on it at all.
- 🐛 Fixed Venue addresses weren't being found, so the map on your Travel and Event Details sections never appeared — you'd enter an address and get nothing. Addresses now resolve properly, including full venue addresses with a postcode, and if one still can't be placed the editor says so instead of leaving an empty gap.
- 🐛 Fixed Sections you hadn't filled in yourself showed as blank space on your published website. Your headline section, event details and countdown now fall back to your wedding's names, date and venue.
- 🐛 Fixed Maps were rendering as a broken stack of tiles on the vendor directory and on published wedding websites — their styling was being blocked. Maps now display properly.
- 🐛 Fixed The wedding website editor's live preview looked right but nothing in it worked — no map, no RSVP buttons, no countdown. The preview is interactive again.
- 🐛 Fixed The admin area, the setup screens and the error pages were falling back to a plain system font because the font file was blocked.
- 🐛 Fixed PDF evidence attached to a vendor verification wouldn't display in the admin area.
- 🐛 Fixed A browser security rule stopped a number of buttons across the site from doing anything when clicked — with no error to explain it. Everything now responds: bulk actions and select-all in the admin area, the log-out and wedding-switcher links, Copy Link on invitations, the token purchase options, the website password toggle, permission counters when creating a role, and the confirmation prompts on deletes.
- 🐛 Fixed The Yes / Can't make it / Not sure yet buttons on an invitation did nothing when tapped, so replies were never recorded. They work again. Meal choices and allergies were always saved correctly — only their highlighting was affected. If you're waiting on replies, it's worth nudging your guests to try their link again.
A proper home for wedding guests, and a picture on your wedding
- ✨ New A wedding picker at "See all weddings" in the sidebar menu, showing every wedding on your account as a card with its date, venue, your role and the countdown — handy if you're planning or helping with more than one.
- ✨ New Upload a cover photo of the two of you in Settings. It becomes the picture on your wedding card and appears beside your names in the sidebar. Until you add one, each wedding gets its own softly coloured placeholder.
- 🐛 Fixed When your partner accepted their invitation you were told twice — two identical emails and two identical notifications. You now hear about it once.
- 🐛 Fixed Adding an email address to someone on your guest list created an account for them but never told them. They now get a welcome email inviting them to set a password, the same as when a guest adds their own email while replying. Bulk CSV imports stay quiet.
- 🐛 Fixed The dashboard could come up empty with no explanation when no wedding was open. It now points you to your weddings, or to setting one up.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest's email address looked editable once they had their own account, but saving a change quietly did nothing. It's now shown as locked, explaining that the address is theirs to change since it's what they sign in with.
- 🐛 Fixed During setup, the website template choices, the Organiser / Vendor buttons and the guest-list Save and remove buttons did nothing when clicked. All are working again, and the template choices can now be reached with the keyboard.
- ✨ New Guests who RSVP with their email address now get a place of their own in the app. Setting a password takes you straight to a guest dashboard showing your RSVP, who else is on your invitation, what you told the couple about meals and allergies, your table and who you're sitting with, and any photo albums or pre-wedding events the couple has shared with you.
- 🐛 Fixed Guests with an account could get stuck on the setup screen, which only offered "planning a wedding" or "listing a business" — neither of which applies when you're simply attending. Anyone already attached to a wedding now goes straight into the app.
- 🔒 Security Guests now start with no access to anything inside your wedding — not the guest list, your galleries, or your events. What guests should see differs from wedding to wedding, so nothing is assumed on your behalf: grant exactly what you want under Settings → Roles. This doesn't change their invitation, where they can always RSVP and add photos to the albums you've opened up. Guest records, contact details and guest-list exports stay with the people managing the list either way.
- 🐛 Fixed A guest who hadn't been sent an invitation yet was shown as "Not replied yet", as though they were holding things up. Their dashboard now says they're not yet invited.
- 🐛 Fixed Chat appeared in a guest's menu but wasn't theirs to open. It only shows when you can actually use it.
- 🐛 Fixed Opening a role under Settings → Roles failed with an error as soon as anyone was assigned to it. Roles now open normally, and the permission and member tick-boxes respond again.
- 🔒 Security The thank-you tracker, which shows who gave which gift, now needs gift-registry access rather than guest-list access.
- 🔒 Security Dashboard panels are now checked one by one against what a helper is actually allowed to see, so a role given narrow access can no longer read the couple's budget, registry totals or RSVP figures from the dashboard.
Helpful planning emails, a tidier sidebar, and a batch of polish
- ⚡ Improved A clear "Open Chat" button now appears on a vendor's booking page when the next step is to talk — the Chat tab alone was easy to miss.
- ⚡ Improved Your own booking page now has a "Talk to [your vendor]" panel with an Open Chat button too, telling you when new messages are waiting.
- ⚡ Improved Vendors now see unread-message counts pinned to Bookings and Enquiries in their sidebar, so new chat messages can't slip by unnoticed.
- 🐛 Fixed If a couple switches chat off, vendors can no longer send messages they'd never see (and can't be charged tokens for them). Both sides now see an honest note instead, and couples get a link to turn chat back on in Settings.
- ✨ New Vendors now get a notification (and an email, if enabled) when a couple withdraws an enquiry, including the reason — so nothing sits waiting for a reply that isn't coming.
- ⚡ Improved The vendor area now matches the couple side — Help Guides and Support have moved from the bottom of the left-hand menu into the account dropdown.
- ✨ New You can now cancel an enquiry you no longer want to go ahead with. Pick a reason from the list (or tell us in your own words), and the vendor can no longer message you about it.
- ⚡ Improved If you book a vendor you've already been talking to, the booking now continues that same conversation instead of starting an empty new one, and the original enquiry is closed off rather than left hanging.
- 🐛 Fixed Your enquiries list showed how many replies you had but gave you no way to open them. Each enquiry now has clear "Read replies", "Chat" and "Booking" buttons.
- ✨ New Vendors can save the messages they send most often as reply templates, then drop one into a chat with a click and edit it before sending — nothing is ever sent automatically. Templates can include the couple's name, wedding date and venue, which are filled in for you. As everywhere else, websites, emails and phone numbers aren't allowed in them.
- ✨ New Couples and vendors can now chat properly about an enquiry before anyone commits to a booking. The conversation appears in your normal chat area, and if you go on to make a booking the whole history comes with it rather than starting over.
- ⚡ Improved The vendor availability calendar now has month and year dropdowns, so you can jump to a date years ahead instead of clicking through a month at a time.
- ⚡ Improved Booking chats now belong to the whole business — any of your team can pick up a conversation, not just whoever created the booking.
- ⚡ Improved The "Send Invitations" pop-up now explains what to do when you haven't created any invitations yet, instead of showing a bare line of text.
- ⚡ Improved Vendors can now turn an enquiry into a booking straight from the enquiries list, and jump into a chat with the couple from the enquiry itself. The buttons were missing before, even though the booking and chat were already there once you found them.
- ⚡ Improved The left-hand menu now groups Plan, Guests and Celebrate into sections you can open and close, so there’s far less scrolling. Sections start closed, and whichever one contains the page you’re on opens automatically.
- ⚡ Improved Your dashboard now leads with your wedding, with the “My Business” panel moved below to sit after the recommended vendors.
- ⚡ Improved Delete and remove buttons across the app have been restyled — they now sit quietly beside the other buttons and turn a clear rose only when you hover, instead of looking out of place.
- ⚡ Improved The “Add Recipient” button on your thank-you tracker, and the Edit / Mark Thanked / Remove buttons on each row, are now properly styled.
- 🐛 Fixed Photos you’d picked to upload showed their filenames instead of a preview image.
- 🐛 Fixed If a photo upload failed, the page quietly reloaded and nothing appeared. It now tells you what went wrong so you can fix it and try again.
- 🐛 Fixed The caption you add when uploading photos is now saved to those photos — it was previously being dropped.
- 🐛 Fixed A supplier shown under “Still to book” on your dashboard could appear a second time in the recommendations directly below it.
- 🐛 Fixed The gift registry page was missing some of its styling.
- 🐛 Fixed Maps on public wedding websites weren't loading at all — the map library was being rejected because of a corrupted integrity fingerprint in the page.
- 🐛 Fixed The RSVP buttons on public wedding websites (and the month/year dropdowns on the vendor calendar) stopped working under our stricter security settings; they've been rewired to comply.
- 🐛 Fixed The website editor's "Exact page" preview showed a blank pane — our own security policy was blocking the app from embedding its own pages. It also blocked the Google Fonts used on wedding websites; both are allowed again, with outside sites still barred from framing the app.
- ⚡ Improved Confirmation pop-ups (like Remove Block) now split their buttons evenly, instead of a small odd-shaped button beside a full-width one.
- 🐛 Fixed The explanatory note under the “Private album” setting rendered as plain, oversized text.
- ✨ New We’ll now send you the occasional friendly nudge at just the right time in your planning — a prompt to start your guest list, a reminder that save-the-date season has arrived, a pointer to plan your seating, and ideas for local florists and entertainment before they get booked up, plus a few warm tips as your big day approaches. We only ever send the single most relevant one, never more than one a week, with one-click unsubscribe in every email.
- ✨ New Vendor recommendations inside these emails are matched to your area — and if we don’t yet have suppliers near you in that category, we simply leave that section out rather than showing an empty list.
- ⚡ Improved You’re fully in control of these emails from your notification preferences — a single “Automated planning emails” switch turns them all off, or you can keep the ones you like and switch off just the types you don’t (for example, keep seating reminders but stop vendor suggestions).
- ⚡ Improved The notification preferences page has been redesigned with cleaner on/off switches that are much easier to read at a glance.
- 🐛 Fixed Fixed a deployment issue in the new planning-emails feature that could briefly take the site offline; it now installs safely every time.
In-app campaigns, registry upgrades & a smarter directory
- 🐛 Fixed The notifications panel now works smoothly — clicking a notification marks it read (or unread) in place without reloading the page, the unread count updates live, and the panel closes cleanly.
- 🔒 Security Broad security hardening across the platform — a site-wide Content-Security-Policy (defence-in-depth against injected scripts), stricter limits on how often messages/enquiries/support requests can be sent, virus scanning on all uploaded booking documents, RSVP dietary answers locked to your set options, and vendors blocked from hiding contact details in their profile text.
- ⚡ Improved Vendor profiles are now a fully self-contained home on Wedding List Manager — add a longer "About your business" story that couples see alongside your gallery, services and reviews. External website and social links have been removed from public profiles so the whole experience stays on the platform.
- 🔒 Security Hardened the site against malicious content injected through vendor and wedding details — search-engine data blocks, the seating planner, and spreadsheet exports now safely neutralise any code or formulas hidden in names and notes.
- ✨ New Vendors can now run in-app campaigns — approved campaigns arrive as notifications in couples' notification panel (opted-in couples only), alongside email. Each channel keeps its own respectful once-a-month-per-vendor limit, and admins can set a separate minimum spend for in-app campaigns.
- ⚡ Improved Campaign previews now match the campaign's channel — previewing an in-app campaign delivers it straight to your own notifications, clearly marked as a preview, instead of asking for an email address.
- ⚡ Improved Registry items imported from a retailer link now show their product photo — both in your registry manager and on your public registry page.
- 🐛 Fixed The wedding-website step during onboarding now shows your site's real web address instead of a placeholder, so the URL you see is the URL you'll get.
- 🐛 Fixed Going back a step during onboarding and resubmitting your budget, website, or registry no longer causes an error — your previous answer is simply updated, and your website's starter sections are no longer duplicated.
- ⚡ Improved Template choices during onboarding now show each template's real preview image, matching the template gallery inside the app.
- 🐛 Fixed Our cookie policy is now listed in the sitemap so search engines can find it, and non-production copies of the site tell search engines not to index them.
- ✨ New We can now send occasional platform updates by email — feature news and tips, including a reminder to share your wedding website with guests. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, there's a "Product updates" switch in your preferences, and you can decline them right on the registration form. These are entirely separate from vendor offers, which remain strictly opt-in.
- ⚡ Improved A full search-engine overhaul of the public site — richer business listings for search results (verified ratings only), page-by-page titles and descriptions, proper social-share previews, a smarter sitemap, and private pages reliably kept out of search. Couples' private registries are no longer listed in the sitemap.
- ✨ New You'll now hear about wedding chat messages you've missed — if messages sit unread for a few minutes we'll send one summary (never a message-by-message flood), as an in-app notification and, if you want it, by email. There's a new "Chat" switch in your notification preferences.
- ⚡ Improved Wedding chat is now switched on by default, including for weddings created before this change — you no longer have to find the setting to start using it. You can still turn it off any time in Settings.
- ✨ New Your Thank Yous page now has an "Other Recipients" section — add anyone who isn't on the guest list, like the band, the church, or a neighbour who helped out, with an optional note, and tick them off as you go.
- ✨ New Help is now a proper guide library — a hub of topic cards leading to in-depth, step-by-step guides, reachable straight from the sidebar. Vendors get their own guide section too. More topics are being added.
- ⚡ Improved Our cookie and privacy policies now spell out exactly how vendor marketing works — vendors pay us to deliver messages, but never receive your name, email, or browsing data, and only learn who you are if you contact, reply to, or book them.
- 🐛 Fixed The cookie banner is now styled correctly everywhere it appears — it previously rendered unstyled on the landing page and a few others, and was unreadable in dark mode.
- ✨ New A cookie policy page is now available (linked in the footer), explaining exactly which cookies we set and why.
- ✨ New We now ask before switching on analytics cookies — a one-time banner lets you accept or decline, and declining changes nothing about how the planning tools work. We never use advertising cookies.
- ⚡ Improved Both the couple and vendor sidebars are now grouped into labelled sections, so it's easier to find your way around as the app grows. Help Guides is now a direct sidebar link.
- ⚡ Improved Pre-wedding celebrations are now simply called "Events" throughout the app (living at /wedding/events) — hen dos, stag dos, and joint celebrations remain as event types within it.
- 🐛 Fixed Vendors without a wedding now get a proper vendor-branded notification preferences page — the settings cog in the notifications panel previously showed it in the couple's app chrome.
- 🐛 Fixed Admin platform settings now validate every field before saving (token costs, welcome grants, campaign audience floor and frequency caps), so a typo can't silently break campaign or token rules.
- 🔒 Security A vendor whose verification has been revoked by an admin is now hidden from their public profile page too, matching the directory listings.
- 🔒 Security Invitation links are now rate-limited per invitation as well as per visitor, so guessing attacks on invite codes are blocked even from many different networks.
- ✨ New You'll now be notified when a guest claims a registry gift or chips into a cash fund, and your dashboard shows a registry summary — gifts claimed, funds raised, and thank-yous still to send.
- ✨ New Adding registry items is faster — paste a product link from a retailer and we'll fill in the name, price, and photo for you. You can also reorder items within a category, and every claim has a one-click personalised thank-you note ready to copy.
- ✨ New Vendors can now filter outreach prospects by how recently a couple was active on the platform — from the last week up to the last year — on both the interested-couples and past-contacts tabs, so tokens aren't spent messaging couples who've moved on.
- ✨ New You're now in charge of how many vendor offer emails you receive — pick a weekly limit (or none) in your notification preferences, counted across all vendors combined. Each account gets its own weekly reset day, assigned at random when you join and changeable any time, so offers arrive spread across the week.
- ✨ New Anyone browsing the vendor directory can now enquire directly from a vendor's profile — no account needed up front. We create a light account from your email (with a link to set a password) so you can track the vendor's reply in the app.
- ✨ New Browsing vendors is more personal — save vendors with a heart, see your recently viewed vendors on the directory homepage, and compare up to 3 vendors side by side.
- ⚡ Improved Vendor category pages now open with a helpful intro guide, and filtered searches keep all your filters (including map view) when you apply new ones — so filtered pages can be shared by link.
- 🐛 Fixed A database change in today's release failed on production servers (its index name was too long for MySQL), briefly taking the site down — the migration is fixed and made safe to re-run.
Website editor upgrades, vendor analytics & availability calendar
- ✨ New Vendors can now reach out to interested couples — anyone who favourited, enquired, or booked with them. Couples who only favourited stay completely anonymous (vendors see just a wedding month, area, and budget/guest bands) until they choose to reply, each message costs tokens, and vendors get at most one follow-up after 14 days of silence.
- ✨ New Couples can stop messages from any vendor with one click, and unfavouriting a vendor removes you from their outreach list automatically.
- ✨ New Plan the hen do, stag do, or a joint celebration right in the app — create events with a date and location, keep a list of who's coming, and work through a shared to-do checklist. Look for "Events" in the sidebar.
- ✨ New Hen & stag events now track money too — set a cost per attendee, see how much you've collected, and mark shares paid. Attendees can be picked straight from your guest list or added by name; adding a new name with an email invites them to the app, where they can view the event, see their share, and mark it paid themselves (view-only — they can't change your plans).
- ✨ New Guests who RSVP with their email (and don't already have an account) now get a friendly welcome email with a link to set a password — so they're all set for wedding photos, updates, and more later. The link is unique to them and works for 14 days.
- ✨ New Export your guest list as a CSV (next to the existing PDF) — every guest with RSVP status, meal choice, allergies, dietary notes, and table — ready to open in a spreadsheet or hand to your caterer.
- ✨ New Set an RSVP deadline for your wedding — and override it on individual invitations if some guests need a different date. We'll automatically remind anyone who hasn't replied (or answered "maybe") about a week before, then again a couple of days before. Late replies are still accepted but clearly flagged as late for you, and you can switch the automatic reminders on or off per wedding or per invitation.
- ✨ New You can now download a copy of all your data — profile, marketing choices, weddings, favourited vendors, enquiries, and bookings — as a file from your profile page, alongside the existing option to delete your account.
- ✨ New Vendors can preview their own public profile exactly as couples see it — including before verification is complete — via a "View public profile" button on the My Business page, with a banner making clear it's a preview.
- ✨ New The vendor directory now has a proper search box — type a business name on the /vendors page to search across every category at once, alongside the category and location filters.
- ✨ New Wedding List Manager can now be installed as an app on your phone or computer — look for the install prompt (or "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone). A friendly offline page appears if you lose connection, and the app loads faster on repeat visits.
- ✨ New A notifications bell now sits in the top bar (for both couples and vendors) with an unread count — click it to slide open a panel of your recent notifications, mark them read, and jump straight to what they're about. The "What's New" icon is now a separate sparkle so the two don't get confused.
- ⚡ Improved The homepage now tells our real story — honest highlights (free for couples, pay-as-you-go for vendors, built on community feedback) and how Wedding List Manager began in 2017, built by our founder for his own wedding.
- ✨ New Photo galleries are here — upload photos straight into a gallery block in the website editor and they appear on your live site immediately.
- ✨ New Hero and story images can now come from your website photo gallery — pick an existing photo or upload a new one right in the block, or paste a URL as before.
- ✨ New Image position controls — zoom in and shift a hero background or story photo within its frame using simple sliders, with a one-click reset.
- ✨ New The website editor gains an "Exact page" preview — see your real website (with your template's styling) inside the editor, and switch between viewing it as a visitor or as an invited guest with the RSVP form.
- ✨ New You can now change your website address and set the title and description shown in search results and link previews, all from Website Settings.
- ✨ New Vendors get a Calendar page — click any future date to block it out or reopen it, with confirmed bookings automatically shown as booked.
- ✨ New Vendor profiles now show a monthly availability calendar, and couples browsing the marketplace see instantly whether their own wedding date is available for that vendor.
- ✨ New Vendors get a new Analytics page — profile views, enquiries, new favourites, and bookings over the last 30 days, with comparisons to the previous month, conversion rates, lifetime totals, and daily trend charts. Profile views are counted as anonymous daily totals only, and your own team's visits never count.
- ✨ New Your dashboard's marketplace panel now shows a "Still to book" list — your biggest budget categories that don't have a vendor yet, each with suggested vendors that fit your budget and location.
- ⚡ Improved The wedding website editor's preview now updates as you type — no need to hit Save just to see how your changes look (Save still publishes them to your site).
- ⚡ Improved The RSVP block editor now explains what invited guests see versus everyone else, and its preview shows both views.
- ⚡ Improved The template picker collapses once you've chosen a template, and the block show/hide, remove, and expand buttons are bigger and harder to press by accident — removing a block now asks for confirmation first.
- ⚡ Improved The website editor now tells you when a save, publish, or delete fails instead of quietly losing the change.
- ⚡ Improved Link previews shared on social media now use your hero photo, and your site's browser theme colour matches your chosen accent.
- ⚡ Improved Every location box across the site now suggests cities as you type — the public vendor search, hen & stag events, vendor client forms, and admin pages all use the same picker as onboarding.
- ⚡ Improved The notifications panel now has a settings cog next to its heading, taking you straight to your notification preferences.
- ⚡ Improved Campaigns can now carry a per-channel minimum token spend (set by platform admins) — a campaign below the minimum for its channel can't be submitted, with a clear message telling the vendor the threshold.
- ⚡ Improved Wedding emails now follow your wedding roles — RSVP updates go to everyone who can manage the guest list (not just the wedding owner), and settings-change alerts only go to people who can edit wedding details, so plain guests no longer receive planning emails that aren't for them.
- ⚡ Improved Broken or mistyped links now show a friendly, branded "Page not found" page instead of the plain default error screen.
- ⚡ Improved The vendor "Reach Couples" page is now organised into tabs — Interested Couples, Past Contacts, and Your Conversations — each with a count and paged results, so it stays fast and tidy however many couples you have. You can filter interested couples by wedding month, year, and location, tick several at once, and send them all one message from a single pop-up.
- ⚡ Improved Couples are protected from vendor over-emailing — a vendor's marketing campaigns now skip any couple they've already emailed in the last 30 days (at most one marketing email per couple per vendor per month), and the vendor's audience estimate reflects who they can actually reach.
- ⚡ Improved Vendors can now close a business even when it still holds tokens — a confirmation dialogue explains the leftover tokens will be forfeited (or you can transfer ownership to a team member first to keep them). In-progress bookings and live campaigns still need resolving first.
- 🐛 Fixed Pop-up dialogs now always appear centred over the page instead of being tucked into the content area.
- 🐛 Fixed Maps now appear reliably on Event Details and Travel blocks — locations are looked up when you save the block instead of every time someone views your page.
- 🐛 Fixed Countdown blocks now show the days-to-go number on your live website, and Event Details blocks show your ceremony date and time with a proper heading (previously these only appeared in the editor preview).
- 🐛 Fixed When our virus scanner is temporarily unavailable, photo uploads now say so and ask you to retry shortly — previously they wrongly claimed your photo contained a virus.
- 🔒 Security Accounts untouched for 3 years now receive a warning email and are permanently deleted 30 days later unless you sign back in — keeping with our promise not to hold your data longer than needed. Signing in at any point cancels the deletion.
- 🔒 Security Tightened who can remove wedding website photos, and unpublished or password-protected websites are now hidden from search engines.
Safer accounts, payment confirmations & tiered verification
- ✨ New When a vendor records one of your instalments as paid, you'll get a notification asking you to confirm receipt — or flag it with a note if something doesn't look right. Flagged payments stay visibly marked for both sides until resolved.
- ✨ New Vendors can now correct a payment recorded by mistake, as long as the couple hasn't already confirmed it — confirmed payments are locked in.
- ✨ New Vendor badges now show how deeply a business has been verified — "Verified" (email), "Business Verified" (documents reviewed), or "ID Verified" (identity checked) — so couples can see at a glance who has gone the extra mile.
- ✨ New Deleting your account now comes with a 90-day safety net — your weddings are hidden straight away, and simply signing back in within 90 days restores everything exactly as you left it. After 90 days your data is permanently erased and your account anonymized; guests who made their own accounts keep them.
- ✨ New Vendor galleries hold up to 30 images, with a clear counter on the gallery page.
- ⚡ Improved Verification status is now tracked in one place behind the scenes, so badges, search visibility, and the vendor portal always agree.
- ⚡ Improved The guest list, vendor dashboard, and admin exports respond noticeably faster, especially for large guest lists.
- ⚡ Improved Vendor photos are now automatically optimised for the web — directory pages and profiles load much faster, especially on mobile.
- ⚡ Improved Vendors keep their booking history and messages when a customer deletes their account — shown as an anonymous customer, with all personal details removed.
- 🐛 Fixed The booking details sidebar sometimes showed "Unpaid" even when instalments had been paid — it now always reflects the real payment schedule.
- 🔒 Security Business owners are warned before account deletion closes a business, and are guided to transfer ownership first if the business should live on.
- 🔒 Security Your wedding data is now backed up automatically every night, so it can be restored if something ever goes wrong on our side.
Refund payouts, security hardening & a tidier dashboard
- ✨ New Approved token refunds are now tracked through to payout — refunds can be sent straight back to the card(s) used for the original token purchases, or recorded against a bank-transfer reference.
- ✨ New Vendors get a confirmation notification (and email, if enabled) the moment their refund payout is sent, including how the money is coming back.
- ✨ New Guest invitation links can now expire a set number of days after your wedding — the window is configurable in Wedding Settings (defaults to 30 days, or never).
- ✨ New A "What's new" changelog so you can keep track of every update we ship.
- ⚡ Improved The refund approval email now tells vendors their GBP payout is on its way.
- ⚡ Improved Invitation passwords now require a minimum length and lock out after repeated incorrect attempts.
- ⚡ Improved Email preference links now expire, so an old link can't change your settings indefinitely.
- ⚡ Improved Dashboard panels in the same row now match heights, with consistent spacing between sections and cards.
- 🐛 Fixed Empty gaps no longer appear on the dashboard when a widget has nothing to show — the remaining panels now use the full width.
- 🐛 Fixed Wedding-website blocks no longer render unsafe links.
- 🔒 Security Private wedding-website registries now respect the site password instead of being publicly reachable.
- 🔒 Security Partner and organiser invites can no longer be accepted by the wrong signed-in account.
Vendor teams & a stricter verification ladder
- ✨ New Invite teammates to your vendor business by email, with accept and decline flows.
- ✨ New Teammates are notified in-app and by email when they're invited, and you're notified when they respond.
- ⚡ Improved Pending invitations can be resent or revoked from the team page.
- ⚡ Improved Vendor verification tiers now build on each other in order — email first, then business documents, then identity — and your Verified status shows consistently everywhere couples see you.
- ⚡ Improved Token refund availability can now be tuned per vendor where needed.
- 🐛 Fixed Duplicate notification emails no longer go out, and admin counts of unverified vendors stay accurate.
- 🔒 Security When an admin revokes a vendor's verification it now stays revoked until an admin re-approves it, and revoked vendors lose portal access everywhere.
Guest list power tools & GDPR controls
- ✨ New Import your guest list from a CSV file instead of adding guests one by one.
- ✨ New Set an RSVP deadline — guests who haven't replied get automatic reminder emails, and responses lock after the date.
- ✨ New Every invitation gets its own QR code for printed stationery, and guests can download an add-to-calendar (.ics) file from their invitation page.
- ✨ New Guests see their table assignment on their invitation page once you've seated them, and can leave their email address when they RSVP so you can keep them updated.
- ✨ New A thank-you tracker so you can tick off who you've thanked after the big day.
- ✨ New A caterer summary PDF — headcounts, meal choices, and allergies in one printable document.
- ✨ New Export or permanently erase a guest's personal data on request (GDPR).
- ✨ New Vendors can see whether their campaign emails are being opened and clicked, and duplicate a past campaign as a starting point for a new one.
- ✨ New Vendor businesses can be closed by their owner (or an admin) without losing history.
- ⚡ Improved Old placeholder guest accounts that were never used are now cleaned up automatically.
- 🐛 Fixed A round of cross-feature bug fixes covering guest and invitation edge cases, campaign token charges, and emailed links that could break when the site address changed.
Campaign emails go live
- ✨ New Approved vendor campaigns are now actually delivered — targeted emails go out automatically, with a marketing preferences link in every message so couples can opt out any time.
- ✨ New Vendors can send themselves a test preview of a campaign email before submitting it.
- ✨ New Campaign emails are composed with a block editor — headings, text, images from your gallery, buttons and more — with a live preview of the finished email.
- ⚡ Improved Campaign target areas use the same city autocomplete as the rest of the app, and campaign emails render properly in older email apps.
- ⚡ Improved Larger verification documents (up to 10MB) now upload without errors.
Vendor campaigns arrive
- ✨ New Vendors can create marketing campaigns: pick a target audience by location, wedding date window, budget and service interests, see an estimated audience size, and submit for approval — tokens are only committed when a campaign is approved.
- ✨ New Campaigns can be withdrawn before approval and paused or resumed while running; only couples who have opted in to marketing are ever included, and vendors only ever see audience counts, never names.
- ⚡ Improved Wedding roles gained finer-grained permissions — dietary details, the activity log, and bookings can each be granted separately to helpers.
Security hardening & interface polish
- ✨ New Deleted weddings can now be restored by their owner instead of being gone forever.
- ⚡ Improved A fresh coat of paint across the app — visual template picker for websites, tidier dropdowns, a notifications shortcut in the top bar, and the planning board now works properly on phones.
- 🐛 Fixed Budget vendor editing showed a blank price; photo album creation failed on some databases.
- 🔒 Security Invitation passwords are now encrypted at rest, admin “impersonate user” sessions are fully audit-logged, and website template styling is checked more strictly before publication.
Organisers can manage client weddings
- ✨ New Wedding organisers can create and manage weddings on behalf of their clients, then hand them over when the couple joins.
Admin insights and onboarding fix
- ✨ New Admins can filter the dashboard's numbers, charts, and activity feed by a custom date range.
- ✨ New Admins can send a message to vendor team members in bulk, filtered by their team role.
- 🐛 Fixed A step in onboarding where you set up your wedding website could fail silently — errors are now surfaced properly.
Admin panel search and polish
- ⚡ Improved The admin moderation queue now has a search box on every tab, and canned support responses can be searched and filtered by category.
- ⚡ Improved Support ticket status, priority, and assignment controls are laid out more clearly.
- 🐛 Fixed Sidebar badge counts in the admin panel no longer show stale numbers.
